Congrats to Todd and his family it's been a long time coming that he get his own gig great hire for beechwood hope these girls come ready to work he is an up beat kind of coach who I think will continue to excel with this program!

Bellevue is not an easy out 6 runs on 5 errors it's hard to beat anyone with that in the box score other then the homerun by #22 for Conner Bellevue pretty much handed the game to Conner, which even with that being said one batter before the homerun Bellevue had an error at shortstop with a double play ball that could have ended the inning! Not taking anything away from them they are a great team but it's tough to lose to anyone when they give your more then 3 outs! I see Covington Catholic winning this one to much small ball for Conner to handle!

Fantastic job by Brian and Bellevue, perfect games are hard to come by at any level great accomplishment!

Your right got to typing fast, but with that being said the play at first base the ball never touched the ground not sure where that argument came from? The argument was his foot being on the bag before the runner got there which it indead was that is the argument coach grey had I know majority of the ludlow squad and Bellevue squad therefore being at the game a close up look and talking with the players and coaches as well agreed he was out! The field ump was right on top of it and made the call! Why would the ludlow coach for an appeal from the home plate umpire about the ball being on the ground when the first baseman for Bellevue's back was to him therefore he couldn't see the ball and his eyes would be on home plate being a possible play there! With that being said ludlow and Bellevue are both small schools playing great baseball and great teams and haveing a great season gonna be forces to reckon with come district time!

Ludlow played Bellevue earlier this year winning that game 5-4!

Do what you need to do would hate to have to hear cooper say they lost to ludlow lol jk :lol2:

Check khsaa schedule from the looks of it Bellevue cancelled to fit in a conference game against silver grove which has to be played for conference standings! Not just because they didn't want to say they lost to ludlow.

Not to sure where you are getting this assumption from but with looking at Bellevue's schedule for this week having two district seed games one being for the number one seed in there respective district with highlands Tonorrow I would think they wanted to get a practice in and make sure guys where rested and ready for a big game for them! Ludlow is a heck of a ball club and is well respected in the 9th region losing to them wouldn't be a bad loss for any team!

Great first outing for the tigers! Williamstown didn't quit in this one down 6-0 made the tigers make some plays and scored 3 runs putting the score at 6-3. The tigers came in the bottom half of that inning and put up 5 more runs for the eventual final of 11-3! Tigers got production out of everyone in the lignup from top to bottom!

While sitting in the floor seats at the bank of Kentucky center during this game and witnessing this awesome gesture by the official, chames was shooting free throws and had a sub waiting to come in for him late in the game missed the second one and purposely in front of us told the ref to call a foul on him as he grabbed the players jersey so his teammate could enter the game goes to show how close a team can be!

Not contesting shots or layups? I can name multiple times where at one end of the floor Kiernan would throw her body to the floor after lowering her shoulder into the bigs of HC with there feet planted not moving hands straight up in the air and a fouls would be called! But at the other end if HC got a shot in the paint everytime they would be bumped and rode to the basket and nothing be called! It's really bad when sitting around ncc fans and they start laughing and questioning why there girls where not being called for fouls!

They really hurt holy cross tonight I hate to blame officiating for a loss but how does two bigs for HC have 10 fouls and the two bigs for NCC only have 3? And Kiernan's first coming in the 4th? Both teams are determained to pound the ball downlow but no love for HC tonight from the zebras.

Hard fought game by both teams Holycross could have easily ran away with this one but fouls killed them which a lot of them I'd say "questionable" calls a lot of flopping by Kiernan do get foul calls! But when a team like Holycross puts themselves in that situation it's tough to win!

Why did mills not play? Resting for districts? Someone know anything tough ball player to sit out a game like this!

Hearing some hype about the tigers going into the season! What do you guys think will be the pros and cons to the tigers this year?

Lots of confusion going on up on the hill! Senior night and the players are supposed to warm up then do senior night activities then play a game? Makes no sense please correct me if I'm wrong! Also do you have to have permission from the KHSAA to wear pink and white uniforms when your school colors are gold blue and white?

I've heard Thornsburg as a possibility also heard some former players of LHS interested in the job!

This is very wierd timing for a job to come open especially with only a month till official tryouts begin!

Big time controversial call when Bellevue had a Covington catholic runner in a pickle allowing cov Cath to score a run didn't see what happened on the play but coach Sanders was highly upset about it!

Back and forth game until bottom of the seventh cov Cath hits a single up the middle to win! Covington catholic didn't have an earned run throughout the entire game! Cov Cath outfield made a few great catches in the outfield or else this game may have a different outcome!

Great played game by both teams!

You mean to tell me he didn't walk I was sitting on the Holmes side during this game and everyone around me manage to agree he did walk if your going to call that tap he got while being boxed out we might as well start playing YMCA basketball leagues again! Another thing the phantom foul once again had Holmes fans stating and I quote "what was the foul there!" Bolden carrying the basketball majority of the time he has it goes uncalled way to much, don't get me wrong the kid is one heck of a player and is very clutch but carries a lot! And the intentional foul that went uncalled was absolutely terrible that gives cooper two shots and the ball late big change of events had the officials got that call right!

I believe the reds won this game for Holmes, late in the game Cooper gets called for a foul that had the Holmes fans wondering what was called! Then Holmes player laying on the floor blatantly grabs the cooper point guards ankle and only a one and one foul is called, that in my opinion and my understanding is two shots plus the ball for cooper flagrant foul. Anyone disagree?
