On Monday Bellevue senior Brian Dill threw a perfect game in a 17-0 5 inning win over the Newport Wildcats. He threw only 56 pitches in the process. Sopomore Brady Hayes made a twisting, twirling catch in left to preserve the perfect game for Dill and the Tigers.

This is a no-hitter, and a perfect game in back to back weeks for Bellevue. Keep the ball rolling!

Congrats to Brian who is having a great senior season!!!!!!!

Great job!

11 pitches an inning, pretty darn strong! Congratulations to him.

Pretty sure he's the kid that pitched against Ludlow earlier this year in the extra inning bonanza.

Congrats!

You are correct. Same kid.

Fantastic job by Brian and Bellevue, perfect games are hard to come by at any level great accomplishment!

Newport has now been outscored 112-4 in their last 9 games, having lost their last 15 outings. They possess wins only over Williamstown and St. Patrick.

Too bad, Ray Brown must be doing flip-flops in his grave.

Newport's awful season still shouldnt diminish the fact that Brian Dill went out and did the job. Congrats Brian and the rest of the Tigers.
