According to the rule in the comment section if you read it right.. The batter was up the line in the way of the throw...Rule 8.4.2 of the comment section... In my opinion I thought where the batter was could've hindered the throw to the plate.. But it's 50/50 and the umpire made a judgement call whether he was right or wrong.. Just seems a strange way to end the game...

Austin Allison was the kid that pitched for Nicholas. Had his fast ball with some pop and a really good 12/6 curve that kept Harrison off balance

JD Wagoner was pitcher for Nicholas..thought also he threw a really nice game. Thought there were a couple if bad calls this game. Real weird play ball hit to shortstop and Wagoner hung between home and third foot race back to third and Campbell's SS dives and tries to tag runner whose sliding back in and it was close but from the angle the runner was never touched but umpire called the runner out.. The other play at the end of the game. Thought that catcher got back and blocked the plate even though he was on 1rst base side but what the umpires failed to see is the batter was standing in the way up the line looking like a cutoff man and the ball bounced right beside him on the throw which technically could've been interference..but other than that it was a really good game.

That's not to fair about Coach Reinhardt. Nicholas Co. Schedule although maybe not the toughest but for the kids he had and the crap he had to put up with from parents and administration and never got any backing on anything.. I think he did one hell of a job..you can be the greatest coach ever but without athletes and and some talent you have to work even harder at what you do and he did that this past year..he got the Bluejackets back to the Regional Tourn. For the first time in 13 yrs.. And gave Montgomery Co. Everything they wanted for a half in the Region. As far as a former coach he wasn't actually fired from coaching..I think Coach Reinhardt would be a good fit anywhere and any school would be lucky to have him...

As of right now they don't have a principal position open and from what I was told that's what there waiting on. They need a short timer and that's the reasoning behind Barr cause your two and done at Nicholas Co.

Was told last night from a pretty good source that Carey Barr would be the next hire at Nicholas Co. To replace Reinhardt. Another two year stint until they get what there really after and that's Former player and current Head Coach Daniel Brown at Henry Clay.

After some further research just got word that they got rid of the middle school coach also after two yrs. so it must trickle down thru the system. Believe he was one of Reinhardts Asst. on the varsity. As far as new Coach heard possibly Carey Barr from Paris or possibly Daniel Brown with all his players transferring out to prep schools. Brown was a former player at Nicholas Co... Still a tough loss for the Nicholas Co. Program. Must be some problems in administration to do what there doing...good luck to Coach Reinhardt for whatever may come your way.

It is true. He was let go. Said it was because of cuts to special Ed program. But there going to create a position from what I've heard and that will open up a PE job for the next coach. But from years past its usually 2 yrs and done no matter what you did for the program. It was the first time in 13 yrs that they've been back to the region. If you come to Nicholas Co. Just know your 2 and done. And administration gives you no backing at all from what I've heard. It's a bad deal for Coach Reinhardt. He was making strides at turning that program around. Hate to see him go. Hopefully he'll land a new job soon. Whoever hires him will be getting someone who knows the game and will be good.

Maybe I can shed some light..Coach Bretz wasn't arguing the fact that she slid head first.. His complaint was she slid at the white bag instead of the safety bag which is what they have to use in softball and there was some contact on the slide at the white bag.. So by rule the right call was made..

First time in 13 yrs. Nicholas is in finals of the District. Seeing them play this yr. if they can withstand Harrison's full court pressure look for Nicholas to win this game. Think there better than Harrison in a half court game. Either way both go next week to the Region. But I like this Nicholas team.

I witnessed this game tonite. Rough game for the Bluejackets couldn't get anything to fall the 1rst half. Did make two runs in 2nd half only to have the officials stop both runs. Rucker kid for Lewis got alot of fouls called for him without much contact. You could tell the officials protected him. Not saying the officiating lost Nicholas the game but honestly didn't help there cause much when they made there runs.

Nicholas Co. Is not too bad.. They just can't seem to put two halves together.. Harrison doesn't look like they are much better and honestly don't look good if they have to play in Half court offense. Nicholas Co. Could be a suprise in this district if they get it all together.

To Stinky boy.... I was there and it was Hacksaw that threw you out... Just goes to show you how much you know about basketball if you can't even get the right official that put you out...learn to watch and keep your remarks to yourself until you've been in a referees shoes...
