When do these 2 teams play? Their contrasting styles should provide an entertaining game. Will Scott's high scoring theatrics win, or GRC's smothering defense. (PS: I'm not driving down to GRC to watch it, so please tell me they will be playing at Scott... 10 minutes from my house )

You got me Danny. I should have phrased my question better. I did not realize which region GRC was in... never paid much attention to the 10th. I could see GRC winning it.

I'm not familiar with GRC's region, but have watched GRC several times over the last couple of years and have grown to like them (except when they play my team ... so, who are the favorites in their region?

Who have they beaten? Of significance? What are their signature wins?

Wish I would have recorded this game. I can emphatically say that Rabe got hurt at the very start of the 4th quarter and Dixie was up 15 or 16. I can also say with 100% accuracy that the coach for St Henry was instructing his players to give hard fouls and to be careful not to give an intentional foul. I lost all respect for St Henry that night. The player stomping on Rabe's ankle while he was on the ground and then laughing about it will not be forgotten. Also, the official score keeper for St Henry showed lots of class when he turned around and called one of our fans an "idiot" for yelling at a ref's call. There's no love between these teams... can't wait to see them play again in Districts.

GRC brings the defensive wood to every game... tough team to score on.

Dixie is better than both Holmes and Campbell

First off, St Henry was never in the game. If Rabe does not get hurt its a 20+ win for Dixie. When he was guarding Goetz, Goetz did not score. Once Rabe went out of the game at the beginning of the 4th quarter a few things happened. 1.) St Henry started to press 2.) St Henry coach put in a "goon squad" (classic hockey move)... that's why the 2 bigs were out... I was sitting right behind the St Henry coach and could hear him... he was telling his guys to give the hard fouls, but to not get the intentional 3) the refs switched the way they were calling the game... they were calling super tight fouls in the first half, but then started letting St Henry get away with "hack-a-shaq"... the refs really started holding their whistles and multiple Dixie players were getting hit in the face and even knocked down... 4) I don't know why, but Dixie went to a 2-3 zone after Rabe went out... St Henry has no real speed, nor the athletes to hurt Dixie in a M2M... but Dixie played zone and gave up too many open 3s... St Henry hit a goofy amount of them Again, I came away less impressed with the Cru... Dixie at full strength beats them by 20+ One last thing... several parents and players saw the St Henry player laughing as he walked away from Rabe while he was on the floor hurt and crying

I was not impressed with St Henry and I have zero respect for their coach after this game.

Dixie was up 15 or 16 when Liam Rabe got hurt with more than 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. On top of that Rabe played sick the whole game.... he puked 4 times in the locker room at halftime. Rabe had 13 at the time and just hit his 3rd 3, but one of the refs whistled off on a bogus 3 seconds call. I'm the wrong guy to be poking right now Danny

I went back and looked at some past winners... I won't single anyone out, but there are more than several who were not "the best player" in the state of KY the year they won.

How is "best" defined? • best stats? • on the best team (beats the other candidates teams)? • commits to the best college?

Oh, my bad, I forgot that once one candidate's team defeats another candidate's team they are no longer under consideration
