How so?

Two reasons: - its a really "tight" gym... everything is on top of the players... sidelines crowded. - it is smaller than NKU... on a bigger court, IMO, its a little harder to press than on a smaller court

Sorry, no offense meant in a bad way. The name Flynn (I was at Holmes when Reynolds Flynn was there) makes me think of Coach Shields at Highlands. No dig meant.

Its hard to just look at "skill set" in a vacuum, sans athletic ability, but that's what I'm doing when I make the statement that one could argue Drew's "skill set" is better. What ultimately sets Spalding apart from the rest of the field is the combination of his SIZE, ATHLETICISM and SKILLS. Drew has good size (a big strong body... but its nothing like Spalding) and Drew is "athletic enough," but again, nothing like Spalding. Yet, when Drew plays in a game against REALLY GOOD DI competition (see this past summer) he steps up and delivers! Yes, Drew has a "high motor," but a lot of kids do and they cannot perform like Drew. So, for me, IMO, Drew's skill set has to be very special in order for him to do what he does. Finally, Drew is a way more skilled golfer

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, these 2 quotes at the beginning have fueled my desire to push McDonald's name into the discussion. I'm not saying he absolutely will win, but he should most definitely be part of the conversation. To not have him on the consideration list is a big mistake.

If they are for real, then its going to be a lot of fun to see which 2 teams makes it out of that district! How does their district seed for the tourney? Would the #3 team in the district be on the same side of the bracket with #2? Or #1 seed?
