Think NCC will win, but rooting from afar (Anderson Co.) for Newport.

Once you throw a pick or two and you are playing from behind, I think things have a way of snow-balling on you at QB. Especially at this age. Cooper's defense was 'on' Friday night, and when they are, they take full advantage of any/all opportunities. Franklin was certainly not a bad team, I didn't think them lethargic. They MAY have underestimated the Jags, and with their overall size and two blowout losses, I can't blame them for that.

Great for those who play another NKy school IF the schools both do or do not practice, but how much is it a disadvantage to the team that does not practice today (and looks like again tomorrow) if your opponent 90 miles south and in school/at practice for one or more days than you?

Ugh....wasn't that pun made in 2012? 2013? LOL I love the Jags' chances in this one. Prickett may be looking to redeem himself after his "deer in the headlights" performance after Ludwig left the game last year with a comfortable lead. Defense for Cooper firing on all cylinders. It will be a battle.

Ahhh, Hellbird - you missed a good one. DEFENSE! S Keller with two pick sixes. Schlarman had an INT as did Watson and Brown! Offense struggled some, but overall Prickett played well as did TCA and Jaden. Solid effort, for a terrible team.

First time I ever saw that....Flyers punt, no one touches it and one of them proceeds to gently kick it about 12 yards and then celebrate as the flag goes up.

Keeping the talent in Erlanger is always an IF.....I could list for you some of the kids that should have gone to LMHS but moved away or elected private schools, and it would make you cry. They would be seniors and juniors now (for the most part) and all of them are play-makers for 5A and 6A schools in the area. NCC is solid, year in, year out. They are a go-to school for lots of reasons. Lloyd - on the other hand - is not. I sincerely wish the Juggs nothing but the best. But as for another state title in my lifetime, I'll have to see it to believe it.

Kinda my point. What QB is in the wings that will be better than Molitor? None. There is another soph that is very talented but they won't carry this team to the next level....ie, truly dominating their disttict and moving theough the playoffs like NCC.

A two week dry spell? That is laughable. Glad only Ryle has to play in those awful conditions - Cooper got to use the dry areas of the field that night. Kuh-ray-zee. Or paranoid.

Molitor will graduate. The sophs - I can only think of 3 true athletes - aren't enough to turn this train around.

Sadly for the Juggs, this might have been their best shot - losing Molitor at QB along with their most athletic kids to graduation is too big a void to overcome for awhile.

Starting to root against Ryle for the same reason I root against SK. LOVE kids on both squads and it's a shame I'd rather see them sink than swim because of a poster or two.

It'll be deja vu all over again for the Juggs. They will be down early and lose by 20+.

A solid high school TE is a big kid with good hands who can block, catch and run. Need anything else? I'll be up another hour or so. What I meant was - and I thought it was obvious - that England couldn't/wouldn't play TE beyond high school.

Cooper lost three games while playing at less than full strength on D. Don't get me wrong - SK owned us but it would not have been that bad had we had everybody back. Dixie was another butt whooping. I still believe Campbell County and S. Oldham were winnable with our best team on the field. As for this week, I think Cooper will have the better offense and if special teams/defense play like they did this past week, Jags will win. Need Watson to continue to dominate, the Keller twins to disrupt and the secondary to be predatory. Hoping the offense continues to spread the ball around. I honestly believe we have more weapons than we've used thus far.
