Same thing as the last 6 years, they cannot stop anyone, they have been consistent, that's for sure. Nothing has changed and they still give up points with the best of them!!

The Keller boy(man) was literally on every tackle, smallest man on the field(other than #48 of Copper, which played well also:), was a monster until he got hurt, hopefully he recovers quickly, they will need him.

I agree that a player should contribute to be named POY, just done penalize a player that's missed some games due to an injury, I agree with you totally that the POY should be based on the current season, and that's why I think the best player should get the award, even if they only play 4-6 weeks in the season, if they deserve it. I hate to say it, but I think we are on the same page.

I am so tired of reading about a player that has not stepped foot on the court, what if, what if..., leave the poor kid alone, I am sure she wants back on the court asap, lets talk about the girls that are playing, and leave out A. Bush, give credit where credit is due and stop making excuses as to what Ryle would be like if she was on the court.

If a player deserves the award they should get it, not matter if they are a freshman, soph or whatever, if the player is the best player, coaches should be able to nominate and support the vote, even if they were hurt due to injury, I don't think you should penalize a player due to an injury, the best player should get the award if you wan to keep the integrity of it, imo. I realize it is unfortunate that many coaches, ad, and whoever casts votes are unaware of the better players for the simple fact they may not have seen them play.

Vince Lombardi could be coaching, if you don't have athletes to work with, your not going to be competitive, some classes are better than others, coaching in a big part of it, but you have to realize your are only coaching the hand you are dealt, this is not Park Hills, Ft. Thomas, or Ft. Mitchell.:up:

How about coopers band packing up at halftime and driving across the track in the middle of the third quarter, they should have to turn the concession money and all the other money they make at the football game over to the athletic boosters if they leave in the middle of the game, that was bad.

Conner scored 26 points, that should be enough to win the game, I would not change any on offense, sounds like they need to put all quarterbacks on defense to help keep opposing teams out o the end zone. To rant on a starting quarterback that has proven himself thus far, won the starting job, and puts up 26 points shows how ignorant some people can be that are unhappy.

Not sure how excuses are being made, Ryle won 3-0 period, bottom line. Your the one that claims how competitive the 9th region will be with teams that are not even in the 9th region??? Now your saying someone is making excuses, you may want to make sure you have an idea what your talking about, there are people that know the volleyball talent around here, and obviously it is apparent some do not!! Ryle is 3-0, with or with out their best player, that is a decent record in my book and not sure why anyone would make excuses, guess they should win 25-0 when their best player comes back!! She is really good, but I don't think she is a miracle worker!!! Conner played very well, however no matter the score Ryle won 3-0. No stupid excuses please!!

I think your the only one that thinks that, the best kids will be on the field at the position they can help the team, I could assure you that, if a kid works his tail off, does what the coaches tell him and expect of him, and is able to understand their job and reads, I guarantee you he will be in the right click!!:no:

They must get some key wins, just because they have one all region player in you opinion does not make a coach of the year, if they don't get some key wins against the likes of Ryle and others in their region, and show improvement, I am sure there will be other choices much better for coach of the year!! If they beat teams with winning records and win their district, then yes she would deserve coach of the year.

It took Ryle longer to run a no huddle offense than it would have if they huddled and figured out what play to run, they better go back to giving the ball to #7 and a cloud of dust!!

Tell them to go listen to Dr. Kremcheck talk, I would think he knows what he is talking about, kids were not playing 60-70 games a summer when the old timers were playing and pitching 12 months out of the year either. This is a prime example of why the innings pitched should not be how Kentucky High School Athletic Association regulates pitch counts, why have a limitation if its based on innings, totally ridiculous. They should be more responsible for ruining kids arms than the coach.

The crow bar mentioned should be used for something else, that's great he has never let a kid throw over 110 pitches, save a lot of kids arm in monitoring that, but the one kid he lets throw 280 or whatever in two days, may ruin his career, is it worth it? No way for me, but I am not in their dugout.

Wow, I thought this is a thread about the well played game, and Conner winning and going to state, this should be posted in a thread with how to deal with Bluebird losses, it would be awesome in that thread. GO COUGARS!!

It all goes with winning, if the coach lets them play loose or "lets them be themselves" its great and every coach should do it, the next year when a team struggles, its "that coach is too easy, he has no discipline". Same way with coaches mentioned above as well as other ones, when they win, it the greatest approach ever, when they struggle, first things that come out "kids are not happy","coach is too hard on them" "kids are not having fun". It all comes down to winning, when a team wins, no one says a word, when a team looses and struggle, coaches should be coaching different!! JUST WIN BABY and all critics are silenced, kids are different every year, coaches coach, kids play and win games.

I don't have a horse in this dog and pony show, but if a parent was ejected from Boone county, the administration should ban this parent from attending any more games, there is no reason that kind of behavior should be tolerated, it would send a strong message. Attending a game is a privilege, especially if your kid is playing, I am sure the kid is embarrassed and ashamed and they should be. If people want to act like idiots, then they should be treated like idiots.

Now that's funny, just proves that what any former athlete understands, if you have to tell someone how good your son/daughter is, they may not be that good, when others talk about your son or daughter, that's when you can feel good, any decent athlete knows to brag on themselves or their own kid, creates a lot of stress on the kid when all they are doing is going out to please daddy so he can brag to others, therefore many stupid excuses are offered when the kid has an off day. Congratulations to Brenden on his perfect game.
