  1. Nice report. J. Kramer issued just one walk on the nite and pitched her best in a big game. Good luck Lady Cru in championship game.
  2. Hard year to figure out. I liked Conner to start but I have liked em every year,so there is that. Haven't seen em this year. Hope weather gets good and games get played.
  3. Jordan rocked tonite. LB. where is the play by play?
  4. "And I'm sorry, but if there is not enough interest in the program to field a team with the high school kids, then the school should not field a team. " I gotcha, so if you have 8 kids who love softball, you say to em, 'sorry I know you kids love softball but you aren't going to play this year because we aren't going to field a team cause Just Jim doesn't think its right for an 8th grader to play.'
  5. Only three dingers? She needs more cage time.

  7. I would have beat him to the punch but it took a minute to delete the spaces between the teams. I like a nice tidy post.
  8. The young lady for Christian Academy threw gas. Just a frosh and has a bright future.

  10. Have to agree with you here. Certainly being defending 9th Region champs and the number one rated team makes it a little easier for your opponents to be up for the game. You could tell the Cru was fired up watching infield and it seemed Highlands did not match that intensity. I am sure that will change as the year goes on. Both teams had mental errors in fielding, missing cuts, base running miscues that always seems to make the difference in close games. Hopefully both teams improve on that as the year goes on. The Cru put the bat on the ball from 1-9 last night though and that really made the difference in this one.
  11. Its ok to try shelby early in the year but in a game that really counts, she mighta got a free pass.
  12. St henry scored 7 in the third. Highlands scored 5 in 5th. St henry came back with 5 in the 6th. Dont remember any more.
  13. I think the sleet gave the wind a good run for its money.
  14. Yes, but don't tell anyone. She likes to fly under the radar. :sssh:
  15. Lawnboy, you guys have all the cash! I saw the pics, as I have insider access, and it is sweet. Nice.
  16. Must be nice to have money. We get excited when we get to paint the dugouts.
  17. I hold the patent and yes, it is quite expensive. If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! My can in the regional final worked well enough that he was forced to stand on top of the press box roof.
  18. [i have watched a lot of these girls the last 6 years or so and will miss their parents and watching them play. :( But is was great along the way.:thumb: Good Luck. ps. Would like to add Emily Specht from St. Henry to the list. She will be going through basic training soon. Good luck Emily. Seems like yesterday I was driving you to practice as an 8th grader.
