Brossart very banged up after sat. BATTLE with CCHS but should have everyone play. They were missing 2 starters in the middle last time they played and lost 2-0. Hoping for better results but we will see. NDA is very talented, fast and I am sure sore as well after playing NCC who also plays hard. Who wants it more and can play through the pain may come into play after a long hard season.

I have only seen one team that passed and controlled the ball better than BBHS this year and that is NDA. So I would have to disagree with the bash and crash comment. They do play physical but they pass the ball well. The only thing they do not do well is finish and score. The only chance they have is 1-0 win or a shootout. I would be amazed if they scored 2 goals on NDA but here is to hoping and as the old line is sports says"thats why they play the game".:popcorn:

They have been ranked ahead of everyone and expected to win the 10th region from day 1 of the season and they worked all year to live up to that. Believe me winning region for them was great but was not "good enough". They will not lay down in this game and they will go down with a fit win or lose. Maybe ND might just look past them and get bit in the back side. The big difference could be desire!!!

I think "way over their heads" is a bit much. BBHS Played them to a 2-0 lose 2 weeks ago with 1 of the goals being an "odd" goal. I would say NDA is a big favorite but I would not say BBHS has no chance. BBHS needs to find a way to score which they have struggled with but if they can get 1 goal with their defense you never know. I have seen stranger things in soccer many times. Good look to both and look for forward to a good game.

Good win for the Mustangs!!! Did not look good until they scored with time running out. Campbell had many chances to close the door but just could not do it and if you give a good team that many chances it will come back to get you. Another great defensive game by both teams. Mustangs have only given up 7 goals in their last 17 games.Good luck to the Mustangs Monday night against the Pandas 7 pm at Dixie.

If that is the case it would not sound and feel so bad. It is still WRONG to stomp on a player but kids (young men) do react as we have all seen. Hoping it was not just an act of rage without being provoked.

I hope that is not the case but if that is what really happened that's not a great why to end your High School career. I believe something like this has happened before with this keeper earlier this year or last year? good luck to Harrison moving on.

That sounds like a good idea but what happens when you have 2 really good teams in the same district???

Does it really matter when Assumtion is going to win again??? How many championships between NDA and Assumtion have they won out of the 33 years. Let me answer that, a bunch. It happens in every sport and they will not class it out for a sport other than Football because it would cost to much. I would love to see it to give the small Schools a chance to compete but it will never happen. Also how would you figure out a wild card??? Statewide polls are not the answer because they are never correct. One of the coaches poll in girls soccer as of 2 weeks again had Highlands at #5 in the state. That is why polls would not work.

I understand that but that is why they play the game. You never Know in soccer what crazy things can happen. I have seen teams get completely outplayed an entire game and win 1-0 on an odd goal or play. lets see what happens. :popcorn:

In the 1st game CCHS beat Harrison 3-0 to advance to the finals. In the second semi-final the Mustangs defeated PCHS 7-0 to set up a rematch of the Distric finals. This should be a great game to see at noon on Sat. at Scott since both times they played this year it ended with Brossart winning in a shootout.:popcorn: Good luck to both teams. The winner will travel to the winner of the 9th region to play their 1st game in the state tournament.

It is an all region team for the season not an all tournament team which would be just for the regional tourny.

It should be CCHS and Brossart and both times they have played is has been decided by a shootout. They both need to take care of business to get there. If they do, look for another hard fought game between them. Great pictures thanks you very much. Campbell's Keeper had many saves including 4-5 that looked like they were going in until she grabbed them. She was the MVP of that game and got them to a shootout. It could have been 2-3 goals if it was not for her play. WELL DONE!!! :thumb: Congrats to Mustangs on another win but still have work to do to reach their potential.

Go fight in a different thread:deadhorse:. This is about BBHS finally getting a field they deserve for a program that has done well for a long time with few girls to pick from. Tom and Mel built this program and are still working to make it better. I Just want to say thanks for the girls to coaches that care.

I would not call playing on the field you practice on every day, at your school, in your locker room neutral. Get on a bus and drive to a field 1 1/2 - 2 hours ahead of time does make a difference. Not saying it would change the results but it could take them out of the very nice comfort zone in Park Hills maybe a little bit.

She is the best I have seen in a long time. She (Emily Greis) gets to balls most do not and when she does it ends up at the setter like it should. She had (according to Volleyball website) 51 digs last night (4 alone on 1 amazing point in the 3rd game):thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb:

Collapse with poor serve/receiving and poor serving. Missed 6 servers in the last set to 15. Giving away 6 points and lose by 2 in a game to 15 just can't happen if you want to win. Sad ending for some senior players.

Brossart ended the season by losing to Scott in 5 games last night. Down 2 games to 1 Scott battled back from a 23-17 hole to win the 4 game and tie the match. The 5th and deciding game which only went to 15 was won by Scott to advance to the District finals against CCHS Lady Camels. Good luck to both teams. This ends the High school career of some very nice players at Brossart and I hope to see some of them move on to the next level if they choose to do so.

The ball was touched by 1 of the NDA's forward before the shoot was taken by a different girl. The goalie should not have be given the assist. That was the Brossart coaches arguement but the center ref said he did not see it touch her. If he would have it would have been OFFSIDES. He missed what others saw but that happens. This is not intended to take anything away from NDA, they deserved to win that game. They outplayed Brossart in the second half but all thing taken it was a great game. I am just stating what I saw and how I would have ruled it if I was the center ref. Others may not have seen it that way and thats OK. Just my side of it and a few others that saw it that way. Good luck to both teams and I would love to see them play again on a Neutral field.

Before jumping on someone please read the posting "NDA Takes Down Brossart in NKY girls Soccer 2-0". You guys just love to beat up BGH but I know he makes it easy.
