National High School Strength Coaches Association - Kentucky State Clinic
Upcoming State Conferences - HS Strength Coaches I've linked directly to the "events" page. There you will find all info for registration. It should be a great opportunity for coaches from around the state to learn from some top notch coaches. This will be aimed at both strength coaches and football (or any other sport) that oversee the training of their young men and women.

National High School Strength Coaches Association - Kentucky State Clinic
The event is being put on by Trinity HS and their Strength Coach as part of the National High School Strength Coaches Association. The organization has been around for 3 years, with this year being the first that State Clinics are being held. Members of the NHSSCA can attend the conference for $25 while cost for non-members is $50. The format of the clinic will be 40min of presentation with a 10min Q&A to follow each speaker. I'm not sure if I am allowed to link to the NHSSCA's website or not...am I?

So that puts him in the 4.4-4.5 range laser timed. That's still cooking! Not many people are going to catch him.

Best Training/Nutrition Publications/Sites for High School Football Players
In years past he has done similar ones in Indy with Mike Robertson. They were far and away the best conferences and clinics I've ever attended.

Best Training/Nutrition Publications/Sites for High School Football Players
I was there too. I've heard him speak many times. Very passionate. Last April he put on a clinic in Texas directed at the HS strength coach. I believe he will be doing something similar again this year. If you can swing it I highly recommend it. He only charged $75 for the last one. Probably the best readily available resource is the National High School Strength Coaches Association NHSSCA. They have a Facebook page where top coaches from around the country are constantly sharing ideas and information.

Best Training/Nutrition Publications/Sites for High School Football Players
The International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA) is very good. Many of the top coaches in the country are associated with them. International Youth Fitness Association - Athletic Development - IYCA A good starting point for any program dealing with the youth population (HS athletes included) is some form a Block Zero program. A foundation program that lays a base for future development. Joe Kenn (Carolina Panthers, formerly of UofL) is a very good resource for this. Information on Block Zero and Long Term Athletic Development at the high school level can be found on his site, Big House Power Home | Big House Power

Off season training
I've heard great things about ASAP. So it sounds like Ryle really doesn't have an off-season program. In this instance, finding outside training is a great thing. If you can't get it at your school then find it elsewhere.

Off season training
Well, what do they do in their off-season?

Off season training
This. There is a need for qualified professionals, either full-time staff or contracted out, who run the programs. This will improve the effectiveness of the training but more importantly it will help ensure that it is ran right, i.e. safely.
