    Congratulations Frankfort on a great regular season! Go get'em in 1A. Difficult circumstances yes, but big plays and turnovers will get you beat every time. Time to step it up Ads. It's all for keeps now.

    I'm just glad that game didn't go into OT. Both teams were gassed but Grey just had enough left in his tank.

    The Ads are fairly beat up right now. This does not bode well considering how stellar the Panthers have been playing.

    You guys must have had the same crew we did. 6 face mask penalties and one phantom roughing the punter. Head referee would not shake Coach Harp's hand before the game. Something about having a cold.

    I am predicting a first round sweep for district 7. Middlesboro is playing pretty good football right now. They have also played good competition IMO.

    Sounded an awful like Danville's game there a week ago. I was going to bring up the officiating but decided to just let it go. MHS can make teams look sluggish IMO.

    Boyle is hitting their stride right now and totally dismantled a, not quite ready for prime time, Titans team but one that has a very bright future. Pardue will establish a winner at MCHS. Good win Rebels! Keep it up!

    Ads took a major step forward last night. The defense was laying the wood as several hits could be heard in the stands. Lost Grey (shoulder) and Alcorn (possible concussion) to injury so they will be day to day IMO. Big night for the seniors and I was especially proud of JD Brown. Jadarius is a powerful runner who has never fully understood his own talents. Maybe he can be the difference maker for the Ads heading into the playoffs in two weeks. Ace Ray had two big drops but catches a screen and dazzled the crowd with his scoring effort. If you haven't seen him play, Devonta Alcorn throws one of the most beautiful deep passes you will ever see. He gives his receivers a chance to make great plays. Great also to see that Damir can make a field goal if need be. Lots of positives in this game but still room for improvement moving forward. Got to contain the outside better and stop giving up the big plays. Offensively the Ads need to sustain drives with a consistent effort up front and keep a balanced attack. One of their most consistent plays this season, win or lose, has involved utilizing their TE's. Looking forward to an exciting game at Frankfort next week. Should be a very entertaining match up.

    You guys are more confident than I am. I have major concerns about this game. LCA has to have rising confidence with their play as of late. Danville not so much. Injuries are becoming more of a factor as I hear another starter on defense is doubtful if not out altogether for Friday. The Ads are due for a better performance but I don't know if they are capable. Never betting against my team though so I will say Danville pulls this one out late 28-21.

    Titans not quite ready for the prime time just yet. Boyle wins this one 35-14.

    A match up between two teams trending in opposite directions. Can the Admirals right the ship on Senior night and play to their potential or will LCA spoil the party? Who wins and why?

    Briar Jumpers D-Line will have too much pressure in the MHS backfield. SHS pitches a shutout 28-0.

    Definately the toughest district. I would not be surprised if district 7 sweeps the first round of playoffs.

    Certainly not the time of year to be playing your worst football. We have seen the potential of this team but only in spurts and without consistency. Right now everybody that lines up against the Ads has to like their chances. Middlesboro does appear to have some nice young talent. They should open some eyes in 2A the next couple of seasons.

    Good grief! I don't even recognize who this team is anymore. I swear they have regressed every week since the game with Boyle. LCA will drill the Ads next week with another performance like this! Gaping holes, false starts, late hits, 4 or 5 face mask penalties, roughing the kicker, this game had everything. Danville definately used their Mulligan tonight.

    I believe you are correct. I forgot that the semi-state was alternating between even and odd regions. I had assumed that the higher seed would host all games and the even/odd determination would be in the case of a 3-0 NCC playing a 3-0 SHS.

    My point is with 3 of the top 8 teams ranked in 2A, the district 7 winner will be battle tested. It may be more difficult for LCA or Danville to win on the road at NCC, but it can be done. There is little to no chance that NCC wins at Somerset this season. But like you, I can see any of these four being there at the end.
