J.Grey was hurt early in the game and did not return.

The Ads stepped it up a get a big district win...

Good Job Ads.:thumb::thumb:

Nice win for Danville. Looks like Somerset will get LCA in the second round this year. Tough draw for the Jumpers.

How does Danville's playoff road look?

Betsy Layne or Shelby Valley at home in the first round. Then on the road at Prestonsburg or home against Middlesboro, most likely Prestonsburg but Middlesboro is playing well right now. In the regional finals they would go on the road to Somerset or get to host LCA.

Wow...can you imagine driving from Shelby Valley to Danville to play the Admirals? That's about a 3 1/2 hour drive, maybe more.

Congrats to the Ads on good win.

Good win Ads!!!

The ADS come out more focused and a lot more agressive on defense. If not for the blocked punt and the totaly blown coverage, plus Danville drops a TD pass after a blown coverage in the first quater this could have been a blow out.

I Know LCA had something to do with those plays. My point is LCA didn't drive the ball on the ADS much. Most of their drives and points were turnover or penalty aided.

Ads took a major step forward last night. The defense was laying the wood as several hits could be heard in the stands. Lost Grey (shoulder) and Alcorn (possible concussion) to injury so they will be day to day IMO. Big night for the seniors and I was especially proud of JD Brown. Jadarius is a powerful runner who has never fully understood his own talents. Maybe he can be the difference maker for the Ads heading into the playoffs in two weeks.

Ace Ray had two big drops but catches a screen and dazzled the crowd with his scoring effort. If you haven't seen him play, Devonta Alcorn throws one of the most beautiful deep passes you will ever see. He gives his receivers a chance to make great plays. Great also to see that Damir can make a field goal if need be.

Lots of positives in this game but still room for improvement moving forward. Got to contain the outside better and stop giving up the big plays. Offensively the Ads need to sustain drives with a consistent effort up front and keep a balanced attack. One of their most consistent plays this season, win or lose, has involved utilizing their TE's.

Looking forward to an exciting game at Frankfort next week. Should be a very entertaining match up.
