I am surprised this game is not being played at Danville. It was played at SW last year.

Danville has beat Corbin several times in the last 30 years. I just could't remember Danville winning at Corbin.

They played well enough offensively to take care of Corbin mistakes, thats something they didn't do last week. I wonder what Corbin will do to get better offensively. Maybe Danville played better than 4chs thinks, you tend to think that way when you lose. I don't think Corbin fans are giving Danville much credit.

Way to go ADS. If I'm not mistaken this is the first time in a long time that Danville has defeated Corbin at Corbin. I know they beat us in 1979 and 1981 my soph and senior years. I know Danville got beat in 1990 in the semi's. Does anybody know the last time Danville won at Corbin, playing Corbin?

I'm think you're right about the Ads toughness, it makes me sick.:puke: I don't know if its coaching or a lot of young players but playing physical will go along way. I'm hoping that the Ads will get back to the days where they "brought the wood every play", that's when they will get back to playing championship football.

A bad way?:confused: DANVILLE IS 2-1 and just lost to one of the best teams in 4A, and I would like to see them rebound, play well and beat Corbin. But I don't think things are desperate after one loss.

I guess you don't think Garrad Co. is very good either.:irked:

I know BCHS was the better team last year but I like Danville on a good surface they can sink there cleets in. I'll guarantee you they would be faster at home if its just a little wet. Of course if it is really wet any surface woud be slick. I think it will be dry friday night, if Danville can open some holes maybe they can show their speed. ( And hold on to the ball).

It has been way too long, maybe with the talent Danville has for the next few years, they can win some of the mathcups.

Well I'm glad it will be at Danville this year, because if it rains the Ads won't have to skate around like last year on the artificial surface.:eek:

Danville's fumblitis also killed them in the first half, Garrad Co. has a good aggressive defense. I think they will have a fine year.:thumb:

They did pick Danville to win, but some of them seem to think the game would be close or interesting, instead of the Domination the ADS showed.

There were several of the sports writers at the Advocate Messenger who thought Lincoln Co. could play with Danville. I wonder what they think now?:confused::idunno: If Danville cuts down on turnovers they will be able to play with anybody in 2A this year. They have a lot of sophmores playing and they have some athletic ability.

Danville Played fairly well against Anderson Co. last week, they were behind by 6 after 3 quaters, but they turned the ball over 2times and gave Anderson Co. about 20 yards to score. They gave up 2 big plays for touchdowns. If Danville can stop blown coverages and assignments they will win this game with out much trouble. Believe me Anderson Co. has a very good team again this year. Danville's offense looks good.

They do have a player with an arm injury, he plays running back. He will be missed but I don't think he is Danville's best player.

I'll take Danville 42 LCHS 14.

I wonder if Lincoln Co. has any speed this year? Danville secondary and LB's look fast on defense, on offense the backs and receivers have good speed.

I'M not so sure NCC will be as dominant this year, isn't most of that big offensive line gone? If OC develops a defende I think they will be the team to beat in 2A, I'm just glad the season is almost here.

If you read Fridays football preview in the Advocate Messenger, I think Sam Harp is quietly confident in the ADS this year.:sssh::cool:

What I have seen, most of his passes look like a frozen rope, if he has matured and can make better decisions with the ball in games, then he will be a major impact player.

I saw the big guy last night at the highschool, He is huge, I was told 6' 5" and about 290, he will make a big impact this year.:eek:
