Both teams are needing a win in a bad way. How do you see this one shaping up?
A bad way? DANVILLE IS 2-1 and just lost to one of the best teams in 4A, and I would like to see them rebound, play well and beat Corbin. But I don't think things are desperate after one loss.

Danville won't blow Corbin out. They defeated Garrard Co. by 8. Not exactly a state powerhouse....

Corbin is a stop away from being 2 and 1 just like Danville.

This one is a toss up. Will be one of the better football games going on Friday night.

It depends on how physical Corbin is. If they hit Danville all night, they can wear them down. Otherwise, Danville's speed is hard to handle.

Does Danville have more team speed than GRC and Tates Creek? What kind of passing games do the Ads have?

They don't pass very well. Qb has a gun but not very accurate.

It also didn't help that he had about 3 receivers drop passes in their hands.

All around, I would say yes they do. I know that GRC has the one kid that is really fast, but Danville has several of them. If you let them loose, look out!! You have to be physical with them. The quarterback doesn't like to be hit (not that I blame him). Seems to rush things if he gets pressure. Receivers seemed to hear footsteps after a few good hits by the Boyle defense also. I'm just saying that after watching them in the second half against Boyle, I think that physical teams that constantly pound them and get on top of them will get them will have a distinct advantage. I know that is just one game, but there were several guys that appeared to not want anymore about midway through the third quarter.

I'm think you're right about the Ads toughness, it makes me sick.:puke: I don't know if its coaching or a lot of young players but playing physical will go along way. I'm hoping that the Ads will get back to the days where they "brought the wood every play", that's when they will get back to playing championship football.

Danville has size up front but they have some of the smallest LB's I've seen them have in a few years. It looks to me when they are on Dfense like they have 4 DL's and 6 or 7 DB's. Might play a part in their toughness. Their Rb's are fast as always but are also on the smallish side. Just my opinion.
