I would add Emily Schultz from Bishop Brossart.

I had the opportunity to see Campbell County play twice in June. I thought they looked very sharp for summer ball. I could see them being a favorite along with Mason this season.

You may be aware of this, but just to be sure, this game only has Juniors from this past season. I am not sure of Sacred Hearts roster, but in coming Seniors would have been the only ones eligible. Also, each region only gets 6 players. Certainly that would make the more talent deep regions more competitive.

East wins a very good ball game over the West 71-69.

Junior All-Star Games set for Saturday at Bellarmine The 5th and 6th Region goes up against the 7th and 8th Region in this one. It should prove to be a fun one to watch. In the last 3 or 4 years, I have never seen Highlands schedule all of there varsity together during the week of the Ludlow team camp. Usually that week they divide the varsity up and mix them with jv and freshmen, and then schedule different groups on different nights. Basically, not every player has to come every night of the week.

The West wins the Senior NKY All Star Game over the East 66-54. Macey Ford from Boone County earns MVP for the East with 16 points. Ally Mayhaus from Holy Cross earns MVP for the West with 21 points.

Great time down at Holy Cross for the NKY East West All Star Games. West wins the Junior All Star game by 8. Coach Nell Fookes was honored during a stop in play in the fourth quarter. Hailey Ison from Walton Verona earned MVP for the East with 13. Ansley Davenport from NCC earned MVP for the West with 14 points.

I believe the games are on June 7th at Holy Cross. Junior game - 5:00pm Senior game - 6:30pm I do not know the rosters.

Congrats to None from the 10th region for getting an honorable mention. :lol2: What is up with that? Why would you just put "none"? There are some pretty good ball players in the 10th that would have been real easy to put in the HM spot. Or maybe that would require a little effort. :idunno:

I assume you are referring to the 14-15 season. Correct? If so, I got no problem with that.

Here is the answer to the thread title. NO...HC has not made the ALL A meaningless. To those who don't care about it, don't play in it, make fun of it, or think it is broken...nothing changes. You already thought it is meaningless. To those who look forward to it, play in it, enjoy it, attend it, follow it, and think it works just fine....nothing changes with Holy Cross at all. Next year we will think it is just as meaningful as it was before. All I am saying is...nothing changes.

Holy Cross took it to another level that later part of the season, that is for sure. I loved their business like, confident and methodic approach they seemed to have through the tournament. Congratulations to the players coaches, staff, school and community!!! STATE! CHAMPS! :ylsuper: :dancingpa

IMO, the bold was a difference maker.

It appears that rebounding was a big difference, if not the difference in this game. GRC +18 in rebounds. Out of the 38 rebounds, I wonder how many of those were offensive?

Congratulations to Trimble County on a great winning season, winning their district and getting to regionals. They made their community proud for sure. I was so impressed with crowd/mob of raider fans in attendance. Their side was packed full. When Clifford hit their first bucket, I thought the roof was coming off. I love the small schools because of the community support they get. Honestly, I think it's one thing many big schools seem to miss. Hopefully the pain of the loss wears off and they can be proud of what they accomplished.

A couple of players that I thought played very well and made big timely shots for both teams.... Rodgers - Three 3's - One at the end of the first that gave Walton the lead at the buzzer. Lehkamp - a freshmen that has seen limited minutes, but was composed when needed. Hit a couple of timely jumpers and 2 free throws down the stretch. Sullivan for Gallatin - She carried Gallatin early in this one nailing about every open jumper she was given. Also...Emma Rodgers and Lehkamp did a tremendous job limiting Dossett's clean three attempts.
