  1. Good job Lone Oak. I think its a great tool to have. It will only help LO in the long run.
  2. You're saying that he ran a 5.3 forty? From "your sources".
  3. 00 , you still haven't said where you got his times from.
  4. He aint running 5.3 either. 00, where are you getting your information? 4.9 sounds high too. My guess is he can run about a 4.7 . I've seen him the open field and while he doesn't have blazing speed , he does look fairly swift. I do know he is already on the radar of several schools and if he grows some more in the next 3 years he should be SEC material. If not, it's Murray State.
  5. I sorta took 00 as legit. Common sense will tell you he doesn't run a 5.3 forty. By the way, Jonathon did so well at the Atlanta camp he got an invite the Oklahoma Sooners camp. If this young man gets to 6'2" he will go big time. I wouldn't trade him for any sophomore in the state.
  6. I guarentee thats a misprint, mistake, typo what ever you wanna call it on the 5.3 40. I dont know what he runs but big ole linemen can run 5.3 40's.
  7. One thing is for certain, you can't talk about state championships at Graves. As for this years team, they should be in the thick of it.
  8. I look for Mayfield to be very solid. I believe this will become Johnathon Jacksons team with him running the ball and his very solid play from the linebacking postion. As long as there are no injuries and other "things" don't occur,I look for Mayfield to be one of the top 2 or 3 teams, if not the top team.
  9. I dont know if I would say Mayfield is the favorite maybe one of them. I do know Beechwood will be improved and looking for some possible revenge. I do hope to possibly make a trip to the Cincy area in November. Good luck to Beechwood .
  10. I know Beechwood will be good but will they really be the ones to beat in 1A?
  11. I'd change offsides on the defense, that if they get back before the ball is snapped its not offsides.
  12. Xavier Shelton was the best player I saw. I'm a Mayfield fan but I didn't see a better individual player from another team that I thought was better than him. I did like the QB from Crittenden County and the QB , receiver and running back from LCA. They were all very good. Also the the big lineman from LCA was by far the best lineman I saw this past season, I hope UK gets him next year.
  13. One finished in Bowling Green and one didn't , hmmm. Nice point.
  14. Nobody in Mayfield is exactly overjoyed losing the state title game but the facts are this. Mayfield had a much better season than Hazard , we won all the games that counted except one and this year and the years forward we will be recongized as the state runnersup.
  15. Simpson has division 1 offers. Hayden has no offers of anykind.
  16. Mayfield is the #2 team no matter what anyones opinion is. Mayfield had a bad game as they did in the Critt game which they won 31-28 after a 42-7 victory earlier. They beat 2 state champs from 2 states. To say Hazard is the #2 team is ridiculous. They may have played LCA close but they did not win and they had 5 loss's without a signature win. Maybe LCA didn't play to their full capabilities in that game. To many here vote for teams in their region instead of looking at the whole body of work which Ram you are doing in this case. One game good or bad doesn't make a season. And Mayfield's season was much better than Hazards.
  17. Some here are talking about some of the great Beechwood teams and Danville of 03,what about Mayfield of 02? 15-0 , beat Beechwood , Mater Dei from Evansville,a great Tilghman team that had Joe Casey and Hunter Cantwell and a good Danville team that won in 01 and 03. 6 or 7 of these young men got college rides from KY and Louis.and Murray. This team should be mentioned as one of better teams from this era. I give LCA its due but I don't know how it stacks up with some of these teams
