I don't think anyone was blaming anyone for anything! Yes coaches do tend to get out of control at times! People do not like to hear the truth and if you are a bad official then find something else to do! There are SOME officials who go onto the floor or field with a chip on their shoulder and just look for a reason to toss a coach. I believe every coach should have to officiate a certain number of games to realize its not as easy as it looks. Most of the refs at the KBA did an admirable job, But there was those who didn't. When fouls are 25-4 someone is not doing their job.

Words can not describe how bad the officiating was! I saw 3 ejections on Saturday 2 coaches and 1 fan. The fan should have been thrown out, the coaches on the other hand was a different story. The refs let things get way out of hand and were unable to clean it up. The majority of the officials did a decent job but there were 4 that had no business trying to officiate,and these were the ones that did the ejecting. They weren't focused on the games, they seamed to worry more what the coaches and fans were saying. I officiate in another sport and realize this is a thankless job but these guys and lady were very unprofessional!

What do they look like this year? I saw them 3 times last year they were pretty young.

Well said. I don't really like the attitude that comes with AAU. Not only by the players but the coaches as well.

I think game would resume from the exact point it was suspended. But Boyle ain't coming back.

I thought Owen Co. was really talented and for some reason couldn't get out of the district. Simon and Walton both have alot returning, Grant, though their record didn't show it was in nearly every game they played and only lost 1 senior. Gallatin will be Gallatin. Jon always has those boys ready to play! Should be interesting.

Jarrod Ball - Owen Co. Nolan Wilson- Gallatin Co. Daniel Tilley- Walton Verona and Tyler Carr- Grant Co. Ball is a competitor and very sound SS for the Rebels, Played Varsity as an 8th grader. Wilson has the best hands of any kid I have ever seen. If its close to him he will catch it! Tilley can hit and is very competitive and played Varsity as an 8th grader. Carr has a cannon of an arm and knows how to pitch. Pitched in several Varsity games as an 8th grader. All play summer ball on some pretty good teams, Ball and Wilson on the KY Bucs (I think) Tilley-NKY Bandits and Carr the Cincinnati Flames.

Blackburn not playing was not the problem fellas! Could you not see that Grant could not get the ball up the floor? Wonder what kind of defense Jon Jones throws at them Tuesday night or Walton-Verona in the 1st round of the district? I know what my scouting report would say.

The reasons for the losses is panic in the last few minutes of a ballgame. This team has been a position to win several more games than their record indicates. Western Hills, Lexington Christian, East Jessamine, Campbell Co. and Walton Verona (1st meeting) All of which they led late in the game then made some bad decisions. This is a very young team with Carr (Fr.) Anglin (So.) Shipp (So.) and Thomas (So.) all seeing significant minutes this year. Future looks good for Coach Hicks.

You are right! He tried to do it with about 3 seconds on the clock. Classy move. The foul wasn't really hard enough for such "GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP"

I swear I've been looking for those 3 players he dunked over on video and I just cant find them! He did have a nice dunk, but lets not be over dramatic.
