I thought opinions were what you do on this site? Relax. Most anyone involved in high school sports gives untold hours of free time. Also, good intentions by your PA guy can still be interpreted in a negative way. Perspective is reality to each person.

But I still think SW is a great team and will win the whole thing. All the other stuff is not necessary in my opinion.

If spitting in your opponents faces and hitting late, punching while in the pile, choking players that are in a pile, pinching and more are not dirty tactics then it will be a clean game.

I've seen them both play. I don't think this will be that close unless rain has an impact. Just my opinion. Good luck to both.

Portland is not near as bad as some on here might think. They are big and have a back that is as good or better than any FS has. The QB is very good. Line is said to be in the 290 average. Portland has just had the unfortunate luck of playing in a higher class with big time competition over the last several years. They also return several senior starters this year. This could be a tough one for FS. When Kentucky teams go into TN the yellow birds seem to come from everywhere.

I think Greenwood has really improved in the last year. I thought I saw that they played Bowling Green pretty close last season. I think Greenwood would do well in many other 5A districts. They are just unfortunate to be in a very loaded district in the past imo.

Yes. Taylor will be much improved. Why? Dudley. No knock against Mercer.

No knock on PT. They were just young - It seemed. They might have had some injuries going into that game. I think Coach Rogers will get the kinks ironed out. PT will be much improved. South will be hard to handle.

I don't know how many teams will be able to match the aggression and physicality of South Warren next season. Speed for Tilgman made no difference when they played due to the aggressive nature of South Warren. I will say this though - I don't think that was a very good Tilgman team last year compared to their history. That will change for sure over the next few years. Rogers will develop his style and improve on the physicality part imo.

That was a great era in F-S football. With two NFL players on a couple of those teams it would be hard to match that success level. F-S played for the State Championship just 3 or 4 years ago as well.

I'm glad Bath is getting a good coach. Coach Poynter deserves a shot and will do well at Bath. If there is any talent he will figure out how to get the most out of the kids. I hope it is his final stop and he has a long career at Bath. Good luck!!

Raider I read on another site that Reynolds has transferred or left Warren East. Have you heard this?

I haven't seen much on here about Warren Central. What will be their strengths?

Plus they have a tremendous coaching staff from what I hear.

Saul Brady. Started on defense as a freshman last season. Looked like a starter on offense at the end. Speed for days and physical. IMO the kid from WE doesn't have anything over him except he carried the ball about 20 times more per game last season. I suspect that will change for Brady.
