  1. While it looks like the Top 3 are ahead of the others (total votes), I would have the Top 3 look like this if I had a vote. 1. Dixie 2. Holmes 3. Holy Cross
  2. Looks like only 6 coaches voted this week, but here are the results compliments of the Enquirer. KY Boys Basketball: Week 8 1. Holy Cross ( 1 ) 54 2. Dixie Heights ( 3 ) 53 3. Holmes ( 2 ) 51 4. Brossart 37 4. Newport Catholic 37 6. Boone County 31 7. Covington Catholic 26 8. Simon Kenton 19 9. Campbell County 15 10. Cooper 5 Others: Newport 1, Walton-Verona 1
  3. Holy Cross has beaten Bowling Green twice and also Clay Co., but both ranked ahead of them....Walter, any thoughts on this one?
  4. Interesting that Holy Cross (6) and Barbourville (5) each got votes this week and they play each other Thursday in the first round of the All A State tournament.
  5. NCC shot way too many 3's IMO....Once they got behind 8-10, they started shooting 3s every time down the court and finished just 6-24. I thought that was the difference in the game. HC penetrated and attacked the rim, while NCC sat back and was content with shooting the 3. Obviously, Campbell's presence under the basket, while not scoring many points in this game, may have caused NCC to settle for more outside jumpers. He was a force down low anytime an NCC player penetrated especially in the first half. Hats off to McDonald from NCC. He only scored 4 points but he battled with Campbell for positioning all night long.
  6. NCC - Bueter & Seibert HC - Thompson & Campbell Tourney MVP - HC-Jake Burger * I didn't catch who the representatives were from the other schools.

  9. Catch all the action live on HC Internet Radio as the Holy Cross Indians (16-2)take on the St. Henry Crusaders (8-9) in the first semi-final game of the All A Classic at 6:00 PM. Pregame show will start at approximately 5:45. http://nhsbn.ezstream.com/broadcasts/index.cfm?fuseaction=usrbrd&dsplvl=brd&broadcasterid=58176&Org=nhsbn&CFID=19904055&CFTOKEN=61519475
  10. Thoughts on this first semi-final game tomorrow night of the All A Classic ?
  11. Only 3 local schools broadcast games via Internet Radio that I know of...Cov Cath, Brossart and Holy Cross. I believe Simon Kenton may have their games on an AM station possibly but can't confirm this, just what I have heard.
  12. I'd put Martin on him but I would assume they may run 2-3 different guys at him tonight to keep him down. Bigger question is who is going to guard Rice? He could have a huge game. Holmes 65 CC 58
  13. I was standing up by the concession stand all night enjoyed my off night talking to Mr. Skinner from the paper the whole game. You could have given my stat sheet to the guy in the cowboy hat - lol.......... I'll need you on Friday night though. Keep up the good work.
  14. AYG...good point. Additionally, I would get dropped off. Parking is ridiculous there right now.
  15. Statman, always thinking "logically'......like when a guy is at the line shooting 2 free throws and the game is on webcast.
  16. If someone starts a sentence by saying, "No disrespect.....Someone is about to get disrespected. LOL - good one Clyde.
  17. Did Walter bring you a cold bottle of water like I did ??? - lol
  18. Not sure what the question is? The floor last night was just fine and had NO stoppages in play due to moisture or anything else. I don't recall any player slipping last night.
