  1. Please understand I am neutral between these 2 teams. But there were 3 bad officiating calls in the Rock/Scott Co. game that lead to Scott Co. winning. These calls were made during the last few minutes of the game and those officials were suspended for one year.
  2. No, those officials were suspended for one year.
  3. When a team is shooting that well it is hard to beat them. Congrats Anderson.
  4. Mercy is the best example of how teams should play together. They are a great team.
  5. Anderson is usually a good shooting team. That is just how it goes sometimes.
  6. Not saying the Lady Indians shouldn't have won both games. Not making excuses either.
  7. Taul had a good game but a person has to remember that the other players were guarded heavily by P. Rogers on the outside and Gay on the inside. GRC went out of their way to shut the 3 point shooting out and that is what they did. That leaves other players open to step up and that is what Taul did. Don't down the other players because they were being guarded heavily. In my opinion P. Rogers is probably the best defensive player in the state. And Gay sure worked on the inside. Montgomery needs to work on getting their shooters open and the inside open. GRC shut both these areas down and if Montgomery doesn't get their players open then GRC will be going to state for the 2nd year in a row.
  8. When these 2 teams met in Dec. 2010 Montgomery did not have sophomore Olivia Colliver or junior Destiny Taul due to injuries and they lost by 10. In the 1st game in Dec. freshman Erica Rogers had 17 points and Macie Spence had 10 for the night. In last night's game the Cards (P. Rogers) held freshman Erica Rogers to 6 points, Olivia Colliver to 6 points and Macie Spence to 2 points. Destiny Taul had 19. Very impressive defense from GRC.
  9. Does anyone have the line score on this game?
  10. The strength of a team's schedule is very important in rating players and teams. If a team has a weak schedule it only hurts them and doesn't really allow for improvement.
  11. She is a remarkable player!
  12. Moss is a very smooth player. She is quick to think and strong enough to complete the play. Hope to see her again at Diddle in March.
  13. Becca Greenwell is a great player. She is the best sophomore I have seen play over the last 2 years..and yes that includes the other players that have famous last names!
  14. This team have their upperclassmen back so what's the reason for Montgomery's losing record? Not sure of why E. Rogers and K. Lockett's scoring has been down in the past few games. Not sure of why E. Rogers isn't playing point guard for Montgomery either. Maybe somebody can explain?
  15. Wow! This is what team work can do for a program.
  16. Great win for Anderson County. I believe the incoming freshman this year won the 8th grade state tournament last year. Congrats to Anderson!
  17. What's the difference if it is DIII schools? Just wondering.
  18. It was just a suggestion. It is hard to sit back and let a coach do this to a kid when you are a parent. I would also request a meeting with the coach and AD to find out exactly what the problem is.
  19. You need to check into the KHSAA rule about transferring. I think that if she didn't play varsity in any sport last year that she may be able to transfer to another program and would be eligible to play. I would definitely check into it especially since she has 15 colleges interested in her. Good luck.
  20. I totally agree with you. I watched Moss in the 2009-10 season and she blew me away. Very talented player.
