Becca Greenwell. Averaging 34 & 11 last time I checked. Best female player I've seen since Jamie Walz. And yes, a sophomore.

Greenwell is the strongest all around player that I have seen in Kentucky. I believe that she scored 44 points in this game. This might sound strange, but the Pandas played great defense on her in this game. She is THAT good!

 

One of the most exciting high school basketball games that I have ever watched!

Sophomore guard Becca Greenwell scored 44 points as the Lady Aces outlasted the Pandas in overtime.

 

Owensboro Catholic plays George Rogers Clark at 7 tonight for the championship.

 

Greenwell scored 10 points in overtime for the Lady Aces (9-3), who also got nine points from Lauryn Yevincy.

 

Lizzy Brannen scored 22 for Notre Dame Academy (6-3), which led 24-20 at halftime.

I would rather not compare individual players. Let me rephrase my post. Greenwell's performance last night was the strongest overall performance that I have ever seen by a Ky. Girl. And she's only a sophomore !!

Somebody else asked me that, but I haven't seen Moss play. I'm sure she's a great player, but I have a hard time believing there's a better player in Kentucky than Greenwell.

I have seen them both and it is fair to say they are both exceptional talents. Maybe they can answer the question in college in a few years.

Sounds like a great game. I saw Miss Greenwell play as a Freshman as was very impressed!

Becca Greenwell is a great player. She is the best sophomore I have seen play over the last 2 years..and yes that includes the other players that have famous last names!

Having seen some of the top girls in the state play, Hammonds, Moss, Epps, Greewell and that's how I would rank them.
