I have no idea what their reasoning was for the transfer. Just speculating that may have been one of the many reasons.

I wasn't aware of that, I just assumed he was in on the decision given Aaron's parent involvement @ Boone. Yes that in itself does change things.

The kid should be welcomed back to Boone with open arms. Who can fault him for wanting to transfer to go play for his brother @ CCH. He went through the process, it was denied, now he should be able to go to Plan B without any issues.

Personally I would like to see either Griffin Urlage or Josh Watson on this side of the ball. I thought Urlage played a solid Safety last year and was expecting even a bigger year from him.

How big of a kid is Jordan? If he can tackle and cover I'm sure he will get some snaps.

Hope this win for Conner in a Summer 7 on 7 competition will translate into a great season for Conner. I was impressed by the effort by both the coaches and the players.

Won as in how? Best dressed? Both teams looked good offensively at times with their first teams. Anyone in the stands keeping score in these 7 on 7 games with all the rotations must be really bored. It looked to me like both teams got a lot of good work in that will benefit them in the future.

How does the TE look for Highlands?

Wonder why it took him till his Senior year to realize he would have "in your words" been better off @ CCH? Hasn't his bother coached there for years?

Hey (pick a relative) you gave me the wrong address? Is it 123 Main st or 321 Main st? Hurry because I need to resend in this paperwork. Is there a certain period of time that the KHSAA makes rulings on eligibility? I know we have been discussing this for almost 2 months now and for Aaron's/Boone County and CCH's sake it should have been cleared up by now since his intentions have been to transfer to CCH for some time. Again my only issue is that Aaron (or any player) is allowed to practice or even be allowed at the practice until the transfer is ruled eligible.

Curious if he is @ CCH practice this week pending new paperwork.

I wonder if Aaron had waited for the approval from the KHSAA to join his new team if the ruling would have been at all different. To me it seems like a slap in the face to the KHSAA that he has been practicing with his chosen new team without being cleared first. If it were my kid I would have all of my ducks in a row before sending him to practice with a new team knowing there is chance he might be denied the transfer. With that said I am in favor of the transfer to the private school and only a private school for whatever the reason may be, athletics or academics. Let the kid play wherever he wants if he can afford the tuition.

Jared Dougherty (Highlands/JR) - Kicker gets my vote. Would be on a lot more radars if he had more chances to try field goals. His ability to put the kickoff in the end zone is a huge benefit.

You forgot to add the interception was against the backup QB in Spring Ball. Wonder why he didn't play any DB last year for a depleted secondary especially during some key games? He rotated at WR so he had to have some gas left for defense. Oh well! Love that UK fan is spending his time watching Highlands spring ball highlights.
