How is the defense for Highlands this year, any key players? How do the seniors look?

Keep everyone healthy would be start.

The Cowboy will be roving the Secondary.

There was talk in the spring that BW would be handling the offense, who does that leave running the D this year?

Shelby Jones is the DC...

Just made a reference in another thread about this yrs defense.

Very similar to the 20n10 Highlands defense. Very physical and talented

Not quite the same number of playmakers that team had between LB's and DB's but this group will certainly have their chance to etch their names into history if they can stay healthy this yr. :thumb:

This yrs D-Line will be one to remember imo. HUGE!!!

Can someone post the list of all the current HHS assistant football coaches, and what they coach? Who is the freshman head coach going to be?

Also, is there a Highlands football roster available?

I'm pretty sure the only changes (aside from HC) to the coaching staff is the subtraction of Ryan Swope and the addition of former Dayton head coach and HHS player Zach Deaton who teaches at HHS.

The freshman staff is Brady Dowling (HC), Jim Dierig, Dan Court, and Matt Reed. Any news on how the "baby birds" are doing?

What position does Deaton coach? Is Behymer still on the staff? If so, what position does he coach?

Behymer is still on the staff. I am not positive what he is coaching, however. Deaton is coaching WRs.

Behymer is LB coach

Shelby Jones will pick up where BW left off. I predict a shirt that says "Defense Wins." Even though he is not DC anymore, his heart will always be there. I think that Hoge will be the OC and QB this year. I look forward to experiencing Brian's intensity! I predict that will be the word for this years team. I'm pumped up just thinking we are close to seeing football again!

What happened to Ryan Swope as a coach? Did he leave HHS?
