BoS. I see you are passionate. I think you are taking some CELL's comments a little personal. I am a WC fan they lost 30-0. They got their tails kicked but that does not mean I don't love and support the kids or coaches. Just stating what I see. JMO. -

BTW Corbin is 0-2. I would not count out Wayne or Casey for number 2. Corbin better not. -

Going with JC. Clay is down little. I think JC is hungry to get in the W column after last weeks loss. -

Shocked you and everyone else watching the game RC is a very good team. They will make noise in thier district. No excuse to get crushed 30-0 though. -
I Do not think anyone is critizing him. Too much is made of rebuidling. Bottom line is MS should not have got blown up like that and people are just constructively analyzing why. If a coach can't handle people voicing their opinions on a forum like this they should not lead a high school program. It comes with the territory good, bad or indifferent. I think coach Clark is a great leader and can handle this, I assume he expects it when a team he leads gets crushed 60-21. No one is personally critizing him. Personally, I think he has brought in an excitement and energy level to the program that is palpable and has never been seen at MS. He Just needs to stick with what he does best and hopefully it is a good fit for MS. Time will tell. No one is calling for his head, to me HS football is not about the W-L record totally, it is about character and your team giving their best effort. Clark teaches life lessons through football. I doubt you will see any team he leads not give great effort. Win, lose or draw I think Clark is good for the program. He may need to make some adjustments from the NFL/College level back to High school where has already proven to be succesful as an assistant. If he is humble and teachable he will. Again, I think he is an effectious and enthusiastic leader who I hope turns the program around. He is a good mentor to young men. Wish him the best!

What does last year have to do with anything? Both teams have new head coaches and Casey lost some very good players while Taylor returned some. Casey is a little thin on numbers and was dealing with some internal issues with their program. Taylor is run by a former college offensive coordinator so I thought they would something on the board. I think a 39-0 score is a little surprising. Their new coach is obviously doing a good job. It does not surprise me Casey won, it surprises me in the way in which they did it. It may not surprise you but it surprised me. -

39-0 nothing I think surprises most people. If they Casey won 24-12, maybe no surprise but to get blown out like that by Casey is surprising to me. -
It does take time, however, alot of high school programs make the mistake of hiring college coaches with "sexy" resumes. That does not always translate into a succesful High School coaching tenure.

I agree. Every high school and college team rebuilds ever year. No excuse for a top ten 6A team to lose like this.

I predicted this one. I do think the Castle is on their way back to being a dominate program. Very good win for them. -
Congratulations and I will be the first to admit I was wrong about this one. Thought PC would win. Coach Lucas has got to be one of the best coaches in the state. Amazing job he and the boys are doing. Joe let me say this right now, whoever, Somerset plays next week I will take Somerset by at least three touchdowns. So don't accuse me of always picking against them

Tough night for football in Whitley County. Thought this game would be closer and that the Jackets would get the win in a tight one. Stay encouraged boys lot of football left. Congratulations Harlan on a solid win! -

Toug, Tough, Tough night for the Col. faithful. RC was simply fantastic. Britt could not be stopped I tip my hat to him. Our youth showed all night and were not able to take away his cutback lanes. Outstanding cutback runner. we have got to get better. I personally thought WC was going to be soild this year I think we still can be, but we have to keep our head up and keep working. Although most of the WC faithful knew RC would get thier points never thought RC defense would shut down our Offense. he OL has got to get thier blocks better. Overall, WC has got get fired up and get after it. Never the less give credit where it is due. Keep your head up Colonels and Coaches. Get back to work we are behind you! I hope the Lakers have a great year. Well deserved win. 5A looks down a little with at least three in the top 10 getting their chops smacked. -

Jumper dad I meant state titles. I also apologize. Joe got under my skin with his comment. Somerset is a good program with good fans like you. I find Joe antagonistic.
