  1. Agree BB has a good squad but well coached teams don't get beat by 26 points.
  2. No fun intended but the Mustangs have more horses in this one. Mustangs win
  3. It's done Shurmur and Heckert out in Cleveland.
  4. I could see that it might look like that? But they have not done well with their coach selection in the past "who ever it was that made the slections". This could be do or die for the Mustang FB progam. I'm not saying they need to hit a home run on it but they need to atleast get a double out of it. Good luck BBHS I've got my fingers crossed.
  5. Received a call from BBHS the other day to inform parents that Cambell County police are going to start making walk throughs just to make their presence know to all.
  6. Not ture at all, having lived it for 5yrs. Brossart football fans have been very tolerant over the years with their FB coaching staffs (too tolerant to me personaly). The past coach had other flaws beyond win and losses that finale lead to his dismissal.
  7. Unless Brossart will be able to move back to 1A soon this is something they should consider. They can not stay on the path they are on.
  8. Are you referring to Brossart or Lloyd? Brossart counld'nt win this one with Andy Dalton at QB. Either way good luck to both teams.
  9. Bishop Brossart sweep Mason County Invitational CC race Girls and boys varsity. No problem with the weather in this one. Girls were also without one of their top runners. Girls team doing really well this year number of girls running is up. looking at the top finishers I take it the two seniors for Mason Co are still out? 10. Sorry not for sure thought they were all from within the area. It's a fun meet always nice weather, girls like it it's an overnight for them.
  11. Bishop Brossart track team traveled to The University of the Cumberlands this past Saturday for a meet. They ran well and ended up wining the event. What made it interesting was the fact that only Freshmen and Sophomore girls made the trip due to prom. Weather was great 86 and sunny. Congratulations girls
  12. 2 Bishop Brossart football players sign with Thomas More. Brian Weckback Def Line Matt Kramer Off Line Congratulation to both, these guys are great young men.
  13. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spencer "Downtown" Brown (Mount Saint Joseph web-site) Spencer Brown is 6’3 180 pound receiver from Bishop Brossart High School, Spencer represents another big time recruit from Northern Kentucky. While playing for Mustangs he set two school records for offense! Most TD receptions in a career, most TD receptions in a game. Spencer also received several accolades: Skilled Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Tri-State Internet Sports Radio Offensive All-Star Team, NKAC All-Star Team and NKFCA All-Star Team. Spencer is undecided on a major for next fall but is excited to begin his career as a MSJ Lion! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14. Pelgen was cleared to play but with only 2 games left in season coaches didn't want to risk him getting re-injured. Young man also plays basketball. As far as the Freshmen QB's play i would say "it's about what you would think it would be from a freshmen playing at varsity level" no more no less. Brossarts chance will come down to their "D" they will have to create turnovers and make first chance tackles to stay in game.
  15. Pelgen not taking any snaps this week Brossart will go with Frosh again.
  16. I only know of the two QB's and the running back from Friday night (who doesn't run the ball alot) that are injured. I did see a couple of kids not dressed Friday night but was told they were JV players. The playing of more JV players was Coaches decision. Maybe there are more but I hate to see Brossart start playing the injury card. To many great young men on team and seniors to end season like that.
