Brossart will go with the freshmen.

Pelgen was cleared to play but with only 2 games left in season coaches didn't want to risk him getting re-injured. Young man also plays basketball. As far as the Freshmen QB's play i would say "it's about what you would think it would be from a freshmen playing at varsity level" no more no less. Brossarts chance will come down to their "D" they will have to create turnovers and make first chance tackles to stay in game.

I only know of the two QB's and the running back from Friday night (who doesn't run the ball alot) that are injured. I did see a couple of kids not dressed Friday night but was told they were JV players. The playing of more JV players was Coaches decision. Maybe there are more but I hate to see Brossart start playing the injury card. To many great young men on team and seniors to end season like that.

This will be an interesting game these two programs started their varsity programs the same year. Brossart does have some injurys biggest being at QB down to 3rd string. But still should be able to see how far they have come along with tackling and blocking techniques and their play.

Played QB from 4th - 7th grade Fort Thomas league, 8th GRADE Brossart JV Qb, 9th grade Varsity QB (might still have scars to prove it), 10th grade JV QB (won JV Championship). He knows the poisition. In comes new Coach moves him to WR which has worked out good hands good speed.

Why it was said I don't know, I just know how the seniors took it. But Brossart is electing to go with Frosh at QB (turned down senior offer to finish year at QB for team). Either way who plays who doesn't HC has a good team should make a good run in playoffs this year.

Don't know? "aptr" But I know it's true my son is one of the seniors that was told and was told more but thats not for on here. Two of the seniors have been with program since 8th grade nothing like going out on a high note. I told seniors keep your heads high and practice harder than anyone on the field and you will play.

Brossart coach tells seniors they won't get much playing time rest of season. Getting team ready for next year? I hope no scouts want a look at a couple of these seniors who are looking at getting to next level. HC rolls in this one.

Brossart Mustang players and cheerleaders will be wearing "Pink Jerseys" during Friday nights game against Newport at Scott HS. To raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Each jersey has a sponsor the sponsor choose's the name of a loved one to honor for the back of jersey. At the end of game there will be a special presentation on the field jerseys will be handed over to sponsors. "Tackle for a Cause" T-shirts will be on sell for 10.00 wear shirt to game and get in free. All proceeds go to Cathy Hollaran's "CHICKS N CHUCKS" organization.

Definitely has got the program headed in right direction. Frosh and JV both won Dsitrict this year.

Things looking good in Camel country.

Some of the parents stay in touch with AD on this subject (they want to know whats going on). Is it wrong for the AD to tell them how many apply? By when should a decision be made on who the Coach is?

From Coach Feldmann: I would like to announce we have a new JV coach. Sarah Parker joins our staff and we are thrilled to have her. She and Coach Garwood will be leading our JV players along with assistance from Coach Schaefer. Coach Parker comes to our program with experience as a player for four years at St. Pats as well as experience playing at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Please help her feel welcome.

Have heard over weekend they now have a JV coach. If she hasn't already she should be introduced at practice today???

Very interesting, never thought of it but I could see where it could look that way. Have heard 9 have applied for job, don't know of any names. I'm sure one would be Kevin E. but with the AD passing on him the first time he would be what "Mustang" would call a long shot.

OK now you can say what you want about the Coaches. They for sure are a emotional group. But the fans? They have been nothing but supportive of this program from the start. They were the foundation that this program is built on. They were what kept the players going in the beginning. So please don't take their cheering or belittles with rocks shaking or yes even a cow bell ringing as anything but excitement for the players and program.
