With everything that has been said back and forth by both teams discussing stats and offensive tactics, it is time to say when and where. Let's settle it on the Grid Iron like it should be done. Statistics don't mean much because if it did Bourbon would be 6-3 possibly 7-2 right now. Bourbon as a one dimensional team has dominated stats in the prior 2 loses before the PC lose. The PC was the closest statistically. Coach P what does it take to get this game against TC?:idunno:

Bourbon County/ Paris Predictions

What does Paris OL/DL look like? How many is on the roster going into this game? From what I have heard not many dressed which leads me into do they have enough gas to go 4 quarters? :idunno: -

Agreed. Pendleton is alot like BC in this match up against Lex. Cath. unfortunately. PC uses most of there young men on both sides of the ball and with LEX. Cath. will be hard to stay fresh. Not taking anything away from PC but it is the proverbial David and Goliath at this point. Same goes for the BC-Boyle matchup. -

The last few years I would agree. This year, I am sorry but Paris just doesn't have enough to stop BC. BC 35 - Paris 14 -

Agree 100%. They are young. Not sure if it is just weights that is needed. Not arguing the point that it can't hurt. Just hoping BC can rebound and get their heads right. -

Yes, I was there and the game came down to six factors. 1. PC came out throwing the ball and making plays against a suspect secondary of BC. 2. Defensively PC did their homework and successfully shut down the BC ground game. 3. Heart- PC game in this game with alot of it and it showed. 4. BC performed horribly defensively. Missed tackles, lack of reading routes. 5. BC has to do something other than run the crap out of Tee. Teams are keying in on him, we know it - they know it. What I am saying is we can run the crap out of Tee, but we have to make the Defense worry about other options than just Tee. They don't have run like Tee to be considered a threat. 6. Heart- BC came in and got rattled again and the Bourbon County of old came out on the field. Arguing amongst themselves. Pointing the finger. BC lost their heart after the first score by PC. This is IMO. In no way am I degrading the performance of the young men at PC. They did a great job and Congrats to them. I have followed Bourbon football for quite sometime now. There is alot of issues at Bourbon that don't belong and interfere.:madman: They are young and performed well. BC just needs to take it up a notch.:irked: -

Doesn't matter who we play we are UNDERDOGS. We like being doubted. HC killed BC last year, it was also the emotional meltdown game at home.:puke: -

Mr. Football after 8 weeks - Take II
GridIronWarrior replied to a topic in KY Football (High School)
Taylor Barnes deserves a serious consideration...I will agree whole heartedly but we might want to consider a better way to phrase this. Without a line that opens holes for Tee to run through he might average 2 yards a carry at best. Once in the secondary it is all him and I am not arguing with you about that. Tee is an outstanding young man on and off the field. Should be considered!!!!! -

Football is like the mail- come rain, sleet or snow. That's the way it has always been. However, it this day and age of money, H1N1, nintendo and the let's pat little Johnny on the back cause he needs positive encouragement more than the ability to play the game mentality that we postpone games. Please forgive me for thinking that we have become soft and it shows in all sports. But we have become soft!!!!

It shows the leadership from the seniors on the field. Going out on a limb here but that is a problem at Bourbon. We have 1 for sure senior with his head on straight and wanting to lead. I will leave it at that. Again Congrats Grant and good luck with the rest of the season.:thumb:
