Agreed on both points. Johnson was dunking easily in warmups, but was jogging (if you can even call it that) with an awful limp. Gregg just flat out produces. He is a joy to watch. As a Pendleton County fan, I can't help but wonder what kind of team they would have this year if he had stayed there.

Well.. It is what it is. Credit to Clark County. They played stingy defense. Pendleton couldn't buy a bucket, and it's foolish to say they are beginning to fade. They will get better, but they certainly laid an egg tonight. Clark County didn't look particularly sharp, but they certainly looked better than Pendleton. Pendleton has went two straight games going 6+ minutes without a bucket. Not going to win many games like that. Pendleton shot 21 percent in the first half. It appears Pendleton tries to run their offense a bit too much through Mason Monroe. Monroe is without a doubt a fantastic player, but VanCleave and Howard did a good job of keeping the ball out of his hands tonight. When this happens, the other Pendleton players look timid and unwilling to attack and create their own shot. Monroe is having to do too much.

Final from the AIT. Woodford called their final timeout with a minute remaining in the game, up five points. This game back to bite them, as they turned the ball over in their final possession of regulation with a chance to win it. Overall fun, fast-paced game to watch. Woodford County will be a very good team once Jay Johnson returns to their lineup. He warmed up, but had a noticable limp. He certainly didnt look like he'd be ready to play in three weeks. Corey Gregg is a warrior. He finished with around 30 points, and he simply has a motor that won't quit. Vargas? for Woodford County is a very good shooter.

That's the first thing I noticed as well. I have a hard time giving any credit to any top 25 that can't use correct grammar.

I agree. I remember watching him dominate JV games. To most of the 10th Region Fatkin and the Cardinals as a whole have been a surprise.

Hopefully Pendleton can contain Region surprise Adam Fatkin. If not, it could be a long night. That being said, I think they will, and I pick them to win by 4.

I've known Taylor Howard for several years through baseball. I had no idea the kid could even play basketball. When I saw his name popping up on box scores, I was pleasantly surprised. Great kid, and great family. Glad to see him contributing.

Is Woodford County the biggest surprise so far in the 11th Region? They were supposed to be a middle of the pack team with Jay Johnson- without him, they weren't supposed to even sniff the top 10 in the Region.

Does he have any offers on the table yet? If he can hit the weight room hard, and I mean really hard, I believe the sky i the limit. Outstanding shooter, rebounder, and very high basketball IQ.

McGovney us really really good. Monroe is better. I would make it a priority to see Monroe in person in the near future. He's a joy to watch.

St. Pat is better than the last few years and it's no secret that Mason County is down from the past several years. St. Pat kids have emotions running high, and aren't keeping it a secret that they believe this is the year. I really do hope Mason County comes out and with the same intensity to defend their home court. I believe they will.

St. Pat travels to the Fieldhouse tonight to take on the Royals. Normally, this game isn't even worth a Prediction thread, but St. Pat is 4-1 and some seem to think this is the year the Saints topple the Royals. Thoughts/predictions? I like Mason County by 15.
