  1. There are plenty of connections in this match up. Egbers, Beatrice and Nowak of Cov Cath also were team mates of Fogle, Montgomery and Acord from Conner. Should be a good game.
  2. Yes Clyde he was selected yesterday for Best of the Bluegrass Game. Should be a heck if a team taking on the Louisville best.
  3. There may be a couple of teams from the other side of the playoff bracket that think differently.
  4. There may be a couple of teams from the other side of the platoff bracket that think differently.
  5. Cameron Fogle no doubt! All 3 Phases makes him the most complete player. ALL IN!
  6. No Birdie. This thread is pitiful. Must not have very much to discuss or bored. Nothing to do with actual football. Bringing up the coaching spying crap which never happened. It was a scrimmage. The players were making fun of a pee wee coach that practices on the same field as Conner saying he was spying on the practice. This same pee wee coach has a son that plays at Beechwood. Just like everything on here related to Conner gets blown way out of context. As far as the tunnel and cheerleader comments....put it to bed. Cheerleaders and tunnels have nothing to do with what was really said. A moderator should lock this thread as it has nothing to do with fact or football. Curtain Call said it best...people sure are interested in Conner this year for some reason.
  7. Hey birdie, keep in mind you cannot judge who someone is by a screen name and I know exactly who you are. You are relitivitly new to BGP, so you have no idea what I have posted in the past related to football knowledge. And by the way, I played a little bit of football in my time ending after two years with the KC Chiefs. Go back and review, I did not say anything regarding a cheerleader or location of cheerleaders in anything ever posted by me. State facts before you open your mouth. My only complaint was the location the visiting team ran through the tunnel. Until the Cooper game all visiting teams at Conner have entered through the east end zone. Tell #12 to keep working hard. Maybe next year when he is a senior he will get another chance at Conner.
  8. Just as I said before. No real experience actually playing the game. Keep on rambling on birdie.
  9. Wow again with the rambling?? Clearly debating with people that have NEVER played any high level football. You can't even understand what you actually see when you watch a game. An hour for a Coke?? Really.....find something else to ramble about.
  10. You really should not repeat yourself over and over. Nonsense??? When you respond this just don't repeat yourself again. You have your opinion.
  11. I guess one thing is for sure...you will go on and on and on.....Please don't ramble for the next three weeks.
  12. Whatever makes you feel better Shooter. I guess the score in the 3rd qtr. is more important than the final? On a totally dry field the Cougars would have rolled. Good game by both teams considering the elements.
  13. Whatever you say Hellbird, if it makes you feel better. You have 3 more weeks to drive yourself crazy. There may be a few people in Hebron that still remembers last weeks score. Good luck the rest of the season.
  14. Correction there Shooter. It was 14-14 at the half. I believe others have explained the scoring perfectly. Best of luck the rest of the season.
  15. Rain entire second half made the game very interesting. Wet conditions favored the running team. Great game Cougars. Keep the Momentum.
  16. So you've watched him his whole life? Sounds like the Bandit has some personal issues. JMO Probably only seen Quick when they played Ryle. Let's put it this way I'd like to have both of them on my team any day.
  17. JQ is definitely the front runner. Star of National Champs. But weigh what each does as a complete player. Now for the size comment NKY Whoever you are, have you ever seen him. Fogle is 6' and 194#, varified 4.4 at three different schools. Quick is taller but weighs less and plays for Trinity.
  18. Great win for the Cougars. Cooper helped the cause when the team came to the Conner sidelines to run through their cheerleader banner. Bush league. Run out of the end zone like everyone else. That intimidation tactic kind of backfired. Fueled the fire. Maybe next game they will stay on their own side. No one got kicked the head. Helmets need to be strapped for protection not comfort. Refs called the foul to get control back. Conner played with fire and was very aggressive. Learn the difference between dirty and aggressive. Great game plan Coaches!
  19. Wow. This has got to be the best ranking poll ever put in writing. All other polls should cease publication immediately.
  20. UK 1Fan...thanks for your continued support from Independence. Your encouragemt is greatly appreciated.
  21. I believe that as soon as the fair catch signal was made the ball went farther than player anticipated. As soon as the ball hits the ground the second player can recover and advance the ball. 2nd player is not allowed catch and advance the ball in the air. Once the ball hits the ground 2nd player can advance at own risk. Figures the ref didn't see it anyway.
  22. UK1, he also had two TD's called back. Did the newspaper report that? Have a good week.
  23. #22 had 12 catches for 174 yds and 8 rushes for 90. Clutch is all I can say.
