Great game between Madisonville North and McCracken Co. McCracken Co jumped out to a 2-0 lead in top half of 1st inning then North tied it 2-2 in bottom 1st on 2 run HR by Mallory Peyton. North then took a 4-2 lead in bottom half of 2nd inning on 2 run HR by Kaylee Tow. In the bottom North scored it's last 2 runs off another 2 run HR by Heather Webb. Mccracken Co scored to make it 6-3 on solo HR by Rachel Ridolfi. in the 4th. Mccracken sorced another run in 5th and 6th inning.

Madisonville North scrimmaged Butler Co last night. North had 4 HR in 2 games against 3 by Peyton & 1 by Tow. North's pitching looked good as well pitching Peyton, Gray, Patterson, while Webb didnt pitch due to sore elbow. North's defense & hitting looked good, Butler is down little from last year, but catcher looked nice. North starts it's season next week with Daviess Co on Monday & McCracken on Tuesday.

The Lady Maroons would have returned all 9 starters from their 29-4 season and a regional semi-final loss. The Maroons added few more top 25 teams to their 2014 schedule. The Maroons will unveil their improved field in the 2014 season. The field in 2013 was probably the worst field in Region 2 if not in Western Kentucky. We have been able to get new playing surface on infield and outfield this past fall. Thanks to the Hopkins County School Board &, the MNHHS boosters. I bought my 2013 Malibu last fall looked at it last weekend coming back from Watkinsville and it already had over 40,000 miles. Doesnt help that my son plays travel baseball as well

She is a '97 2015 Class She got started late on showcases and recruiting but this fall she has had few small D1 watching and has had a few unoffical visits with D2 and NAIA schools.

In Region 2 I would say our avg is 56-57. We have few that are 57-59. My daughter is throwing 60-62.

Agree we played in it last great competition last year.......I know last year North Hopkins, Mercy, & OC played in it.

This past summer we had a hitter that had hit 11 HR during the summer but in the Atlanta Legacy went 2-7 with 7 walks after the tournament one of the coaches told me she would have liked to have seen her swing the bat more than then taking the walks. I didnt know you could ask for more pitches. The want to see the girls hit
