Game played today at Corbin, any thoughts?

I would say for the most part of it handily, but the thing I liked is, even though Whitley was up 2-0 in the first, they never gave up. I wasn't impressed with their pitching or hitting but the defense seemed pretty solid, and I'm sure Ledington will have them ready come tourny time.

Final.

Today is at Whitley Varsity and JV, and tomorrow is at Corbin Varsity and JV...Both Varsity games to start at 5:30.

I haven't looked at Corbin's field but from the looks of things around town, it will be to wet.

Whitley hasn't shown anything to be the clear favorite, however freshmen Trace Vorbeck will probably start monday. I know in Florida he was clocked at 84 mph, and it probably the most acurate pitcher Corbin has.

Is Ledington suspended?

I know Corbin is coming off two solid wins against McCreary Co. and Rockcastle.

Danville is on the same side as FC right? So they would have to play each other in the Region or State Semi's.

I don't, but this must have been one heck of a game.

Remember he played varsity last year as an 8th grader, so he should be used to the preasure.

Anyone know how Fritts and Foley are going to bounce back from season-ending injuries?
