Ryle 62 - Louisville Ballard 56
They are a tough, well coached team. I know their record isn't sterling but they do play in the 7th Region.

Ryle 62 - Louisville Ballard 56
Ballard has to be one of the tallest teams in the State. Their frontline is 6-3,6-3, 6-1. The scored one basket from outside 4 feet, the rest were free throws and 2 footers. With a couple of outside shooters this team would be tough to beat.

Ryle 80 Fern Creek 44
Thanks Frank:) I have stayed away from the end of this thread for obvious reasons. We love Ashley and what she brings to our team. Without a doubt Ryle's most improved. She has and I'm sure will continue to bring it every night. Incredible game Saturday night. If she wouldn't have gotten her arm stepped on she might have had more:)

Sounds like it was a good game. Hope the Greenwell girl can finish the season.

Newport Central Catholic 55 Notre Dame 53
Ryle, Boone, NCC, NDA, and then it's pretty much up in the air. Can anyone win on a given night? Sure, but don't hold your breath.

Ryle 80 Fern Creek 44
Ryle's pressure defense was too much for Fern Creek from the start. Ashley Cheeseman led Ryle with 24 pts. She set the school record for hitting 8- 3 pointers tonight breaking teammate, Abby Jump's record of 7 in a game. Jenna Crittendon chipped in with 11 pts, 11 rbds, and 6 assists. Abby Jump had 13 on Senior Night. Ryle improves to 19-5 on the season. Fern Creek Center, Tiona McCune led the Lady Eagles with 15 pts, and 5 blocked shots.

Ryle vs. Fern Creek Predictions 2/12
Once again Ryle is up against a team I am not familiar with. It will be a Senior Night matchup with 2 Wright State signees. (Jump from Ryle and McCune from Fern Creek). Any thoughts or ideas on this one?

Ryle 81 Scott 48
My wife commented on the way home how well received everyone from Ryle was from the Scott fans. Go make some noise in your District Tournament! Nice meeting you, as well.

Coup at Covington Catholic?
As a total outsider looking in, has anyone considered that maybe the players aren't playing up to their potential or that they may not be as good as advertised early in the season? When a team starts the season with high expetations and don't live up to them the Coach is always the first to take the heat. As it should be. However, the players play the game and they should share the burden of a disappointing season.

Ryle 81 Scott 48
This was only the second opportunity I have had to watch Lauren Tibbs play and I will say she is pretty special. Great footwork, soft hands, and great effort. Good luck the rest of the season and in your career with Marquette.

Ryle 81 Scott 48
Final score from Taylor Mill. Ryle was led by Jenna Crittendon's 23 pts., 7 steals, and 8 assists. Scott was led by Lauren Tibbs. Don't know Miss Tibbs stats but she scored a bunch.

Freshman Regional Tournament/ Feb 9th
I was talking to Cooper's JV coach after the Ryle Cooper game last Saturday and in our conversation I said that Cooper is not too far away from competing with the 9th Region's best squads. Sounds like, from their Freshman team this season, I was closer than even I thought. Good luck to both teams in the Finals.

I watched enough basketball over the years to know that ANYTHING can happen on any night

Newport Central Catholic 61 Ryle 52
You're right. My quote was from a fan's perspective who love the up and down , run them in the ground type of game, that's all.

Newport Central Catholic 61 Ryle 52
Agreed, but I do favor either Ryle or Boone in the Region on a big floor. I played my days in a true crackerbox ( Beechwoods old gym) so I know first hand how you can beat a top team in such circumstances.
