I'm not sure about the video but they sure took a ton of pictures. I happened to be at Boone County HS the Saturday the two ESPN The Magazine photographers were there. They probably spent 3 hours taking pictures, including lots with Syd with friends.........in the gym, the halls, the Commons, all over!

 

The photographers were cool, young guys who really interfaced well with the kids and Coach Fookes, both Coach Fookes in fact, and seemed to really enjoy their work. One of the guys was from England and he was certainly an interesting fellow. He kept shaking hands with folks and telling each one "I'm from England!", as if the accent didn't already reveal that! He was fascinated by the wide hallways at the school and the lockers. Apparently English school hallways are much narrower and do not have lockers. He said he felt like he was "in a movie" because that was the only place he'd seen the wide halls and lockers.........in American movies! He also referred to Syd's uniform as her "kit", which I had never heard before.

 

It would be interesting if they, or the Rise people, who were there another day, did a video. I guess we'll see later if that happened.
