I saw representatives from Wooster College at the Beechwood-Highlands game on Friday. Not sure if they were there for Sisson.

This was part of a home and home agreement, but was moved to Beechwood because of flooding near their campus.

Considering Newport plays the scheduled 8pm game at EKU on Thursday, I seriously doubt they would play in the event of an opening round loss. I have not heard if this game has or will be rescheduled as of yet.

In Ohio, there are around 800 schools which have basketball programs and the state has 4 divisions. In the Commonwealth, there are approximately 270 schools. To go to six divisions in basketball would be way too watered down as it already is in football in my opinion. I like the one state championship, but I also enjoy the in season All "A" tournament for the smaller schools. In basketball, it is approximately 125 schools. Both the A and the 2A are non-state sanctioned tournaments, but they have value in their own way.

This is Beechwood's second win vs teams in the 43rd district in as many tries.
