  1. I saw representatives from Wooster College at the Beechwood-Highlands game on Friday. Not sure if they were there for Sisson.
  2. Final from the Den. Scott Draud with 27 to lead the Tigers. Treshaun Cody 23 and 16 boards to lead the Juggernauts.
  3. This was part of a home and home agreement, but was moved to Beechwood because of flooding near their campus.
  4. Tiger starters were out late in the 1st half. Scott Draud led Beechwood with 19. Halftime was 64-24, the Hawks had 18 turnovers to Tigers 17 assists in that half.
  5. After the government shutdown coming to an end and mourning the loss of one of my brothers, I am ready to roll and play with this group. Give me some FanDuel!!
  6. CJs injury occurred during the NewCath game on Saturday.
  7. We've gone back 25 seasons and the Tigers only won vs. NCC twice, the last two years. I dare to say last night was Beechwood's first ever win on the Hill. That is, until I find out otherwise.
  8. Dohn is an athlete magnet school. Two years old, I heard.
  9. Where are you sitting...I'm doing stats for the visitors.
  10. Considering Newport plays the scheduled 8pm game at EKU on Thursday, I seriously doubt they would play in the event of an opening round loss. I have not heard if this game has or will be rescheduled as of yet.
  11. In Ohio, there are around 800 schools which have basketball programs and the state has 4 divisions. In the Commonwealth, there are approximately 270 schools. To go to six divisions in basketball would be way too watered down as it already is in football in my opinion. I like the one state championship, but I also enjoy the in season All "A" tournament for the smaller schools. In basketball, it is approximately 125 schools. Both the A and the 2A are non-state sanctioned tournaments, but they have value in their own way.
  12. This is Beechwood's second win vs teams in the 43rd district in as many tries.
  13. Tigers move to 16-3 Commodores are now 10-7 Leading Scorers: Beechwood Bieger 23 Draud 16 Brannen 11 Tates Creek Taylor 19 Edmonds 12 Townsend 11 Beechwood outrebounded 27-15, but the Tigers did shoot 61% from field. 16 turnovers for the Commodores.
  14. Leading scorers at halftime: BW - Draud 11 TC - Taylor 11
  15. TC won the JV game in OT by 3. BW down 15 at the end of 3 quarters.
