  1. Can a moderator please correct Conner's name in this post?
  2. He was 7-8 from the field, 1-2 from 3. It was a steal and layup drill for him today.
  3. Final from an afternoon game in Cynthiana. Scotty Draud led the Tigers with 17 points, Cole Busald 16 points and 7 steals, and Will Downton with 12 points and 5 assists. Carpenter led the Thorobreds with 20 points and 8 rebounds.
  4. Sorry, they've been neck and neck most of this year. I just figured after Scotty's 14 on Tuesday, Vinson overtook him.
  5. Highlands is behind on stat reports or Vinson is ahead of Draud in the 9th.

  7. Our Athletic Director indicated that tickets would be provided to each school at $5 each, no passes accepted. Whatever is not sold by the schools will be available at the door.
  8. It's been at Holmes the last two years, one of those years was CovCath's turn, but they opted to host it at Holmes.

  10. I always say basketball is a game of matchups. You can't always gauge how your team will do based on other games' outcomes (who beat who where and by how much).
  11. Classes are not a good idea for Kentucky. I was in Ohio before moving to Kentucky in 2005. Ohio has 4 classes with around 800 high schools who compete in boys' basketball. I don't know the exact total, but Kentucky has around 275 high schools who compete in boys' basketball. Maybe two classes, but I believe the All "A" tournament appeases the small schools in the Commonwealth.
  12. Not sure what you're getting at. I can agree Scotty shot 50% of the FG attempts against St Henry. We have 7 losses, the only other loss where he was even close was against LexCath where he had 19 of the team's 44 attempts.
  13. On what planet is 392 half of 1,113? Please know what you are talking about before you post errant stat comments.
  14. Off the top of my head, Draud 18 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, Downton double figure points, 6 assists, Busald 6 assists. Cody for Lloyd 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block in 13 minutes. Rylee for Beechwood 12 rebounds in 19 minutes (foul trouble).
  15. Beechwood had 20 assists on 22 made baskets. Good team effort.
  16. Hey, but I'm pretty sure when Kevin Stefanski said "Personalities are welcome, production is required," that wasn't the type of production he was talking about.
  17. According to Shawnee, they haven't missed a shot (FG or FT) all season, but they've lost 5 games?
  18. 9th Region All "A" Classic Quarterfinal at St. Henry. Tigers' 4 of 5 starters only played the 1st Quarter. Scotty Draud with 17 and Will Rolf with 11 for Beechwood. Jordan Marksberry led the Green Devils with 12 points. Beechwood will meet Lloyd Memorial at 7:45 on Friday night at St. Henry District High School.
  19. Sorry for the delay, but Owensboro achieved their 2,000 victory against Owensboro Catholic on January 10th, 2020. Congratulations Red Devils!!
  20. Sorry for the delay, but Henry Clay achieved their 2,000th win against Frederick Douglass on January 7, 2020. Congratulations Blue Devils!!
  21. Was this a Sat-Sun game? I tried to get in about an hour before kickoff yesterday and it was full.
  22. Draud led the Tigers with 29 and 9 rebounds. Downton had 18, 7 rebs, and 5 assts. Rylee and Hughes contributed 8 and 7 rebounds respectively. Jack Epperson led the Braves with 20 points.
