Just heard gas prices at Norris lake hovering around $4.00 a gallon. That's for the good stuff they put in boats.

I've never seen him play. He currently has 7 offers. Biggest being Iowa. Others include EKU, Evansville, Toledo, Canisius, Bradley and West Point. I see he is listed as a 4 star, but I'm not seeing the power programs going after him at this point. Cal must be seeing the same thing the other coaches are seeing? Maybe not worth a scholarship offer. Love to see KY. kids do well and hope he goes big time. Tired of people thinking he should be offered by a powerhouse when he may not be worthy. At this time shouldn't the heat be applied to WKY or NKU coaches? Seems more his level of offers currently?

What ever happened to proposition 2? I think that’s what it was called. It was going to require kids to ‘commit’ athletically to the high school once they attended 7th grade. I’m assuming it died an unholy death before being implemented?

Long story about that slogan that was always in the Cov Cath gym. Buddy thought we should do something like that up at NC. I was on student council and had a guest speaker come in for a pep rally. One of the the things he said was “to succeed you must believe”. From there we got permission and painted it on the wall in the gym. It has been painted over, put on a banner and again found a permanent home. Now the school uses the “We believe” on all brochures etc. Class of 80!

If you want to save gas money I'll swing buy and put your 4 cylinder in the back of my Ford 150 long bed 4 door truck. It has a 35 gallon gas tank. I'm looking at $100 to fill it up. LOL I always wait till I get the Kroger points to fill it up. Wife actually topped hers off yesterday as she saw a few stations had already jumped to $2.99 and there was still one about .15 cheaper. Crazy that they all go up at the same time.

So don't the other AAU coaches get to do the same thing?

Well golf was going to be, but that got cancelled.

Congrats to the kid but just silly. No one gets to see all kids play to gauge who is the best in the nation.
