Calvary was up 2-1 most of game, last 2 innings it was tied 2-2, and a desperation bunt in the 10th caused bishop to win by 1

Desperation? Is that a new kind of bunt?

When was this game played?

The game was played Saturday morning (April 21st) - as part of the All A regional double header. Brossart's Jacob Steffen was 3-4 hitting and on base four times (he was hit by a pitch) and scored two of the three Brossart runs. I believe he had 7 stolen bases. This game counted as both the All A regional game and also the District game. Tyler MacDonald and Tanner Griffin pitched for Brossart - each only giving up one run. Not sure who the Calvary pitcher was - but he was very effective the entire game (kudos to that young man).

This game was played Saturday, 4/21.

The score was not 2-1 for most of the game.

Calvary scored 1 in top of first on a bases loaded infield hit after loading the bases on 2 walks on full counts and a base hit. Brossart scores 1 in bottom of 6th. Calvary retakes the lead in the top of the 9th on their first hit since the 1st inning. Brossart ties again in bottom of the 9th on a sacrifice fly after first three batters of the inning are walked and then leaves 2 stranded. Brossart wins the game on a suicide squeeze in the bottom of the 10th. Brossart left winning run on third in the 7th and 8th innings.

Calvary finishes with 2 runs on 3 hits.

Brossart with 3 runs on 4 hits.

Calvary pitcher was Hunter Ellis. Went 8 innings allowing only 1 run on 3 hits.

prepsfan92 pretty much nailed it. Good game!!! Desperation bunt? ...lol!!!

Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.
