With so many senior nights canceled,I agree, would be nice to do something. Maybe before each first round district game, we could ask the pa announcers to just introduce the seniors on each team, just before the starting line ups. I know as a Holmes guy,I sure hate that it looks like no senior night, just a thought.

The double header games will start at 6:30 and 8.

You are correct on Monday, on Tuesday there will be two girls games I am told. Wednesday will be two boys games. Thursday will be girls final. Friday will be the boys final, I am not sure of times yet, will find out Tuesday and post the times.

This was a close game for a while.Holmes explodes for 30 points in the third quarter,it seemed like they turned the pressure up on defense the second half, the Bulldogs have a busy week, Lloyd Wednesday, then senior night Thursday against Cooper.

This has been in place a few years now, I remember there was about eight of us drove to Boyle County a few years ago for this. Julie Johnson came to the ninth a few years ago and does a nice job.

Congrats to the Bred's and the staff, these guys have had a great run, good luck the rest of the year.

Very exciting game, first off, sure hope the young lady from Highlands is ok, wishing her the best, lots of respect. For Highlands, fist time I have seen this this year, lots of nice players and We'll coached, it was a regional type feeling,Have to give the Bulldogs a lot of credit, it looked like a blow out was coming, but they never gave up and played with a lot of heart, there is no big two , like others have said , think The three H's, Holmes, Highlands and Holy Cross Are the top three, but Ryle is very good, Noter Dame and Boone are always dangerous, great win for the Bulldogs, good luck to both teams, if you was not there, you missed a good one.

Bob Burkhart was an outstanding player for Holmes and played freshman ball for uk back in the days when they had freshman teams, Ken Hicks was a pretty good player for Boone County in the 9th.

Also hope Walter got the ally oop dunk by Avery, it was nice.

I said in the prediction thread this game would be close and it was, just made since playing HC the night before and Cooper Friday, plus Newport has a couple of nice players, Snapp is the real deal, enjoy watching him play, I thought Mullins had a really nice game considering he sat a lot with 4 fouls, Andrew Arnold is a unsung work horse on this team, the young man plays hard just like he does in football, good luck to Newport and Holmes.

I think Holmes wins in a close game, could be a trap game, coming off a district game last night and at BOK Friday, Newport is pretty good and can be a dangerous team at times.

Holmes Jv play at Boone Co. This Thursday after the 6 pm freshman game between Holmes and Boone

Very good win for the Tigers, congrats, Boone is the most confusing team in the ninth to figure out, I still think they have a very good team.

Lot of choices in the 9th, but going with Bolden, averging around 20 a game, and Holmes has played a nice schedule.

Huge district match up for probably number two seed, Birds advantage at home, but will take the Wildcats in a close game.

Good to see Lawnboy and Walter in the house tonight, I was shocked that Coach Feldhouse did not get a a tech tonight, give the Indians credit for a nice comeback when it looked like Holmes was going to open up the lead, number 23 and 10 made some big shots down the stretch, I agree that McLendon should have pulled it out in the last few seconds, but he is such high energy,he has really played outstanding the last two weeks, Arnold did a nice job off the bench, best of luck to Madison Central the rest of the year, looking forward to a big district game Tuesday against Holy cross.

Look for a close game, but picking the Dogs to pull out a close one if they can keep the outside shot going, with Bolden and Mclendon both playing well the dogs are a tuff out, Twotoplace if you get the car started , come on down to the scores table and say hey.

This was one entertaining basketball game, props to Scott, if I am in the tenth region I don't want to play them come tournement time, these guys can flat out shoot, like another post said if they just had one big man, Bolden had maybe his best game ever in the first half, Avery was hug tonight and the bench played strong, best of luck to both teams the rest of the year and as a Bulldog fan I am glad we don't see Scott again.
