CCH game plan is make Cooper shoot outside, all 5 men to the boards and/or box out hard. No second shots for Cooper. Keep them off the offensive glass.

I am looking at 3 point shooting for the final four. How do teams defend Cooper? Statistically they are the worst shooting team in the final four. ________________________ Newport's worst shooter is Covington. Jackson just ok on 3's. The turning point in the Ryle game for Newport was when they focused on attacking the middle of the zone. They hit a lot of pull up 6 footers. I can see why a zone would be the game plan against Newport. Lloyd is the best 3 point shooting team in the final four. I see Newport playing a tight man defense giving Lloyd trouble though. Lloyd has to play at a slower pace. If they play at a higher pace, it is going to look like their last meeting. I am not saying play a slow game. But if the winning score is 60+, that strongly favors Newport.

Hopefully his targets are replaced by a quality TE.

Last night was just ok. I feel like they are still in the let's get to know these people stage. Thankfully Jess sent home. My question on her is how did she even make it through casting? Total dud in almost every way. She tried last night but she is just clueless. With these two first votes, we are out of the dumb and dumber phase of this season.

Trap game meaning UT not focused. I just don't see that on senior day, last home game of the year against a despised opponent. I have a hard time with UK ever being a trap game for another team. Everyone brings their A game against UK.

For me it comes down to a couple simple questions: 1. Are live bullets used in guns on movie sets? 2. Is there any reasonable expectation by an actor that a gun on a movie set would have live rounds in it?

Gregg or Fields at QB? I know nothing about Fields. But if you need to pass the ball to win, Gregg is not the QB. With one exception vs Conner, Dixie lost every game last year that Gregg threw more than 13 passes. They won every game that Gregg threw 13 passes or fewer.

Yes, correct. That foul at 13 seconds is what I was talking about above. That foul by Newport was not on purpose. The foul by Newport up 3 with 5 seconds left is the one that was on purpose.

I don't remember that foul being on purpose. Wasn't that a reaching in foul by Covington on an attempted steal?

Didn't they just win the all A title? Yes, he is emotional. But look at how he coaches the team. He did a great job coaching Newport through that game last night with the way he made adjustments and called his time outs.

As easily as Lloyd won this one, if they play the same against Newport they will lose by double digits. Beechwood had so many open shots and could not put the ball in the basket. The key for Lloyd was Walker shut Sullivan down and no one else on Beechwood could score. Blackburn found his game late but it was over by then.

Newport attacked the rim twice as much as Ryle, so that looks about right.

Ugly. Very ugly. The last couple minutes were a lesson in how to lose a game by both teams.

The TV timeouts are why I much prefer watching NFL games at home on TV vs. at the stadium. A couple years ago I had free tickets to a Bengals game. I left at halftime to watch the second half at home. TV timeouts are terrible for the game attendance experience.

It's 5 now. 1. Everyone has their die hard fans. 2. Close game the first time they played.

Is the Newport lineup healthy?

Based on that, UK has the tiebreaker advantage on Auburn and Alabama.

UK is tied with Auburn for 4th. They will catch either South Carolina or Tennessee if they win their last two games.
