  1. Congrats to Grayson County on a very good season!
  2. I am definitely not a historian on WC football. There are just some years that standout more than others and the 95 season does in a negative way. However, you seem like an encyclopedia on Greenwood football and will have to jog my memory on the kickoffs in the 95 game.
  3. Maybe a real bad night would even the playing field for the Dragons. That is what I am hoping anyway
  4. Home field give Lafayette the edge. 22-20
  5. It would be the first playoff win for either of these two. I will go with Spencer Co in a close on 14-13
  6. Don't think I would call the 1995 Gator win an 'upset.' That WC team finished 2-8 and was probably the worst team WC has had since 84. That WC team also lost to Warren East, who only finished with 2 or 3 wins in 1995. Congrats to Coach Smart, though. He has done a commendable job.
  7. Hopkinsville will have to be more disciplined that WC was a few weeks ago when Grayson pulled off the win that gave them the 2 seed in the district and this 1st round game at home. However, I think the Tigers will win this won going away.
  8. Coach Hood has done a good job at AC-S. The nephew of former Warren Central coach Joe Hood leads the Pats to a 26-14 win.
  9. Courtney Dalcourt is too much in this one. F-S-42-12.
  10. Greenwood wins their first playoff game ever. 23-21.
  11. This has the potential to be a great game. Ballard has improved throughout the year and Henderson has, also.
  12. Bardstown should be ready emotionally after losing a close one last week to Warren Central. Metcalfe is certainly not what they have been the past few years. I think that this has the potential to be a close game, but Bardstown has played a very difficult schedule to prepare them. I see the Tigers winning. But, it will be closer than 48-0 and I do think the Hornets will score.
  13. This may be one of the best games in the West this week. Edmonson has had a decent season. Congrats to former Warren Central head coach Rick Wood (Edmonson AD) and former WC assistant Kyle Pierce, who is the Wildcat head coach.
  14. If this is even half as exciting as last seasons state semifinal it will be worth whatever the admission charge is.
  15. Owen will probably have an uphill climb, but I have to pull for the Rebs as Owen assistant coach Hilton Isable is a Warren Central alum.
  16. Jeremy Heming-OT-Warren Central HS
  17. St. Xavier wins this one and moves on track to rematch with Manual in 3rd round.
  18. Glasgow is not typical Glasgow this year. Danville will win by 4-5 TD's.
  19. I, too, am a WCHS alum. Hope our Dragons can get things going at Rash Stadium Friday and pull off a huge upset. This is one of those years where Owensboro has the better team. But it is not impossible for the Dragons to pull it off. I also believe WC will get things going back strong in a short time.
  20. Many girls coaches have been moving to boys teams or into administrative positions.
  21. Good decision to go for win, but a great stop by the Dragons.
