Mercer County at Marion County
Donald Wayne and Craig Yeast will have Marion Co. ready for this game. Why? Nothing like getting overlooked by your home school.

Jaggers was more of a personality thing than coaching. Nobody will tell you that Jaggers can't coach. He is a very good coach. Not for sure about this years coach but the players don't seem to have that "edge" that is needed to win games. What I do know for a fact is that the new coach probably has the states longest losing streak (0-10 at Nelson in his last year and now 0-4 at Mercer this year). To me, this says a lot about a coach and his abilities. Tough early schedule with no doubt. However, they should have won the game Friday night and I just do not see it getting any better although I hope it does.

Boyle County/Mercer County Predictions
None. Zilch. Natta. This will be a good old country butt kicking.:isurrender: IMO, Mercer's main 2 problems are youth and lack of speed. Youth is OK because they are gaining experience. But, the lack of speed concerns me. Yes, we have some fast guys but fast doesn't always equal speed.

Boyle County/Mercer County Predictions
I seriousely doubt that Mercer would drop Boyle from their schedule due to being whipped. Unlike Anderson Co., Mercer won't drop someone from their schedule just because they got whupped.

Boyle County/Mercer County Predictions
Nothing that these 2 people say should EVER be taken serious on here again. As a matter of fact, they should be banned for being stupid! Not in a 1,000 games could Mercer beat Boyle this year.

I doubt that this will ever happen.

Mercer County 2009/2010
Sorry, for the late reply but I have been on vacation. Tatum (thank goodness) went to the girls team. Not for sure as to who is his replacement but I had heard that they were trying to get Derek Springate. Not for sure on that, though.

coachi, you are CRAZI! Mercer was not loaded after the merger unless you consider 2 losing teams merging together to be "loaded".

Mercer County 2009/2010
They need to definately handle the ball better than they did last year. It seemed at times last year that they didn't have any rhyme or reason to their offense. Taylor needs to play smarter and hustle more. Hopefully, the Cinnamon kid has gained some strength and maybe even have grown some over the Summer. The coaching needs to be of higher quality than it has for the past couple of years. IMO, they SHOULD:idunno: be a good quality team that is capable of winning the region. Will they win the region? Due to the question marks listed above I don't believe they will. My hope is that Cundiff gets his act together and that the players come together as a TEAM and put all of the crap of the past 3 years behind them. When this happens then Mercer will be a force to reckon with in the 12th!

Breathitt County/Mercer County Predictions
I don't even see this game being close. Mercer couldn't stop #12 from Danville in their scrimmage and I can't see any way that they can stop Fugate. Sad to say it but I believe the Titans take it on the chin and other areas in this one. 40 to 7 might be too kind.

Mercer County/Danville Scrimmage
By my count the score was Danville 21 and Mercer 7 at the end of the first 2 quarters. Danville had a couple of TD's brought back by penalties. #12 for Danville looked unstoppable or at least for Mercer to stop him.

Mercer County/Danville Scrimmage
The big crowd for a scrimmage will hopefully propel this game to be a regular season event. Now that Jaggers is gone there is no reason for this not to happen. Huge gate to be had for this game!

Craig Yeast is taking a job at Marion
What you people are failing to realize is that Craig is moving on to a better job, is a good guy and will be working with his cousin Donald Smith. Wouldn't you do the same??? I would!
