  1. Of course not... I know plenty about investing. I just want to make sure everyone else does... Ok you got me.
  2. Yes, somebody please help her! I'll just watch to make sure you all are explaining things correctly.:popcorn::popcorn:
  3. I plan to get in a couple more rounds of golf this weekend! Thank you Mother Nature!!
  4. From here on out, James isn't going to drastically improve as a player. As you said, he is in his prime. Playing the best basketball of his career and is currently better than KD. He isn't THAT much better than KD though. Over the next few years, KD can still greatly improve parts of his game. I'm just going off of my opinion that in two or three years, KD will be better than James and will still be refining his game at a greater pace. Obviously I can't prove that will be the case, it's just an opinion. That's what this board is for. And don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE LeBron James. He is one of the best things to ever happen to the NBA, at least during my lifetime. I'm rooting for him to get his championship this season (and I'm REALLY rooting for a Heat-Thunder Finals).
  5. ^ You can't go wrong with either really... I mean it's the best two players in the NBA we're talking about. LeBron is the better OVERALL player, and it's pretty difficult to argue otherwise. KD is more clutch down the stretch, also pretty difficult to argue otherwise. For the next 5 years, I'd take KD simply because he is this good and hasn't even reached his prime yet. For one year, I'm taking LBJ.
  6. Anyone else think Wade should've gotten a Flagrant 2 yesterday? Immediately after not getting a call he thought he should have, Wade ran down an opposing player and took him out. I'd consider that unsportsmanlike and therefore deserving of ejection. It is the playoffs though and it is Dwyane Wade, so I can't say I'm surprised he wasn't given the boot. Just thought he may have deserved it.
  7. Was this dance last night? If so, I saw a group of girls out eating together at Saul Good. No guys present and I assume none joined them before the dance. How did the school differentiate between those girls and the two homosexual girls? My guess is the latter made it a point that they were a couple, which is unnecessary.
  8. ^ Yes to both. You can see it, just barely, in the Vault as the Destroyer takes out the invading frost giants. It is kind of hidden in the shadows, but it's there and you can tell what it is when you see it. I had to read about it online before I found it in the movie. I'll try to post a still shot of it later.
  9. I'm looking forward to it. Looking back, there was something I saw in Thor that should have hinted that he would be coming. Just have to wait another 2-3 years...
  10. Spoiler Alert! Highlight to read: His name's Thanos. He's basically the ultimate villain in the Marvel universe. Here's a quick overview I grabbed from Wikipedia. Thanos is a mutant member of the race of superhumans known as the Titanian Eternals. The character possesses abilities common to the Eternals, but in some cases far beyond any other known member of his race; acquired through a combination of his mutant Eternal heritage, bionic amplification, mysticism, and the entity Death. He has demonstrated enormous superhuman strength, stamina, and particularly durability; is able to absorb and project vast quantities of cosmic energy; is virtually ageless and immortal; does not need food, drink, or oxygen; and is capable of certain telekinesis, as well as telepathy and matter manipulation. The advanced technology within his transportation chairs includes force field projection, time travel, movement through alternate universes, space flight, and teleportation over interstellar distances. Thanos is an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant, having been trained in the art of war on Titan. Thanos possesses superhuman intellect (he considers his mind his greatest weapon) and has knowledge of Celestial and other alien technology. Thanos is a genius in virtually all known fields of advanced science and has created technology far exceeding contemporary Earth science. Basically, he is a Marvel fanboy's dream villain.
  11. Is there anywhere near Lexington I can go to get fitted for clubs?
  12. I played a quick 9 today at Austin Hills, formerly Sundowner. It's a really easy course, but I figured it would make a good warmup for tomorrow at Diamond Links. Shot a 40 which is the best I've shot there so far.
  13. ENJOY!!! I went and watched the premiere last night. It beat even my expectations and I went in with some high ones. Granted, I'm a huge Marvel nerd and extremely biased. I was surprised how funny it was as well. Make sure to stay for the credits!!!!
  14. Here's a bit from a site I read on frequently: You can read the rest of the article here. Some language might be NSFW, but it's an entertaining and informative read.
  15. Are the still sticking with the book pretty well? Last night's show was awesome.
  16. Jets got my second favorite player in the draft, just behind RG3. Welcome to NY Stephen Hill!!!!
  17. No way this happens... That's beyond absurd.
  18. My closest so far is about 2 ft. from the cup. A couple of weeks back, my friend and I were stuck behind a group of guys who were literally hitting the ball 15 feet at a time all the way down the course. We get to a par 3 and they finally let us go around while they sat and watched. It was about 150 yards. I had been playing TERRIBLE up to that point, but with a small crowd watching I hit the most beautiful shot I've had so far. I cracked up while I hopped on my cart because those guys were going crazy about how awesome of a golfer I was (which is most certainly not the case). I also had a buddy slam one off the pole. It would have sailed past the green had it not hit the pole. Still didn't land anywhere near the cup, but was cool to see.
  19. I played yesterday and as I was about to drive the ball, a duck flew right in front of my face. I freaked out slightly and hit my tee shot right between my legs somehow. My partner died laughing, until his tee shot went 10 ft. into the pond. If you all haven't played Griffin Gate in Lexington, it's a beautiful course. I hope to go back again sometime soon. Later tee times during the week (2 PM or later) are half off. Played 18 with a cart for $30. Usually $60 there.
  20. Can anyone tell me about Coples? I know that he is an elite athlete, but seriously lacks effort. People on Jets forums say he could project anywhere between Peppers and Gholston caliber. In other words, he is a complete wild card. Don't know if I should be happy or not.
  21. I'm playing Griffin Gate at the Mariott tomorrow. Anyone played there before?
  22. This week can take as long as it wants IMO. Finals next week...
  23. ^ Thanks, I'll definitely give that a try next time I go golfing.
  24. I started drinking coffee at work last year. I'm at 2 cups a day right now. I'll be at 3-4 when I go back to work in the summer. My roommate bought a Keurig and I love the convenience. K-cups are a little expensive, but the coffee tastes great. I add a couple spoonfuls of sugar and some French Vanilla creamer. Mmmmmm... Going to go make a cup right now.
