  1. I just started this year. I'm a mid 90's player for the most part. Occasionally I'll shoot high 80's. I've been about ten times this year already. I'm hooked. Got an eagle on the first par 5 at Sandy Creek near Ashland, KY. About freaked out when I saw my second shot with a 3 wood hit a few feet from the hole. Ever since then, I've hit my 3 wood better than any club in my bag. My driving is terrible. I have the most wicked slice on every single one of my drives. I aim about 45 degrees to the left on every drive to get it close to the fairway. Sometimes that doesn't even help. Weird though... I can hit my woods straight as an arrow. I've only played at Sandy Creek and Austin Hills in Ashland. Picadome in Lexington. I'll move to tougher courses when I get a little better. I am beyond addicted right now. I plan to spend many days this summer out on the links.
  2. My cousin moved into the house next to my parents' house recently. Before him, a man lived there who committed suicide in the house. When my cousin moved in, there was still blood and brain tissue on one of the walls. I don't know how that gets overlooked prior to selling the house, but it did in this case. As for my answer, heck yes I would! Living in a haunted house would be awesome.
  3. I wish there was a smiley face capable of capturing my expression at the end of the show. I don't even know if what I saw really happened because it was so absurd. I don't have a clue what that thing was. The season has officially gotten under way though.
  4. Dang right I was! I counted on those late night dinners. As Adopted Admiral said, those decisions were the owners. If I had a say in it, that would have never happened.
  5. The procedure was to make the finals runs of food with about 30 minutes left until close. There was always more than enough food to cover any remaining regular orders. In fact, I usually got to take home some sandwiches and nuggets. Once the final runs were made, we were supposed to begin clean up procedures. I perfected the art of closing up, so i usually had it all done before closing time anyways. No one should come in 5 minutes before closing and expect 500 nuggets.
  6. I can relate to being mad in that situation. I worked at Chick-Fil-A in high school and one night, someone came in 5 minutes before close. They ordered 5 trays of chicken nuggets. I had already shut everything down and cleaned and stuff. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. Didn't really think to mess with their food though. Just considered walking out and saying "Screw you, I quit."
  7. Could contend for a title. I think Elite 8 is a good expectation at this point, just based on talent alone. Definitely too early to know for sure though.
  8. Agreed... Privacy is just a myth anymore. I feel it's been that way for awhile now.
  9. Yeah I followed along. That part was one of my favorites so far this season. Preview for next week looked intense. I'm excited to see what happens.
  10. CWB, I like the response prank to that one. One of my all-time favorites [video=youtube_share;bI7AUgp5fPI]
  11. I freaking love Tyrion Lannister. I haven't read the books so I don't know what becomes of him, but right now he is my favorite character. Also a huge fan of Snow and Arya.
  12. ^ I had some very nice out of state options I could have gone to, but I couldn't reason passing up the free tuition. So I pretty much agree with the sentiment. On the same note though, I'm sure the fact that I was a Governor's Scholar helped my chances at getting accepted to some of those out of state schools. Also, I don't know if it's changed, but at UK you also must get a 30 on the ACT to get free tuition if you're a Governor's Scholar. A 32 makes you a prime candidate for the Singletary (full ride plus stipend).
  13. GT, what is it about this kid's game that you don't particularly like? I've only been able to watch his highlights and one game that was televised a couple of weeks ago I believe, so I don't have much of a feel for him. Edit: GT answered right as I posted.
  14. I'm torn... Clearly Petrino is not the kind of guy I want leading my team, but he sure would help make UK football fun to watch.
  15. I'm always looking for some new videos to watch on YouTube. So, I figured we could get a thread going where everyone posts some of their favorite videos. I'll get the ball rolling with one I just saw a few minutes ago. [video=youtube_share;316AzLYfAzw]
  16. Considered going and getting it last night. Am rethinking that decision now. Might just go get '12.
  17. My official prediction: Cal gets whoever is necessary for UK to contend for a title again next season. ..... And so it shall be.
  18. I'm determined to be a grillmaster one day. First step will be getting a grill after I graduate. I'm bookmarking this thread for when that day comes.
  19. Still haven't met a single BGP'er. Came close to meeting Randy Parker at one of the UK pros games, but I couldn't remember where he said he was sitting when I got there.
  20. Yeah, I haven't heard much about any foreign guys this year. Teams always find a way to surprise you on draft day though.
  21. I think he gets the most exposure at UK, and being here would be the best for him in terms of draft stock. We've seen what one year under Cal can do for a player. Hope to see Oriakhi in Lex next season. His experience and talent would be huge for next year's team.
  22. Ohhhhh yes and I'm right there with you my friend. It is delicious. My roommate's dad brought some down for tailgating the year before last. I love me some summer shandy.
  23. Did you consider UK's non conference schedule this year to be adequate? They did play four of the nation's top teams (KU, IU, UNC, and UL). If not, what would you consider an adequate schedule?
