  1. Congratulations Antonio, a big award for a deserving player and honor student!! http://sports.espn.go.com/highschool/rise/football/news/story?id=4710475 http://www.theleafchronicle.com/article/20091203/NEWS01/91203025/Fort+Campbell+QB+named+Gatorade+Player+of+the+Year
  2. I don't know if anybody on any team is 100% going into game number 15 of the season, except for maybe some 3rd string punters. Antonio is more then ready to play, but he is not the only weapon FC has in the cupboard. If the opponent focuses on stopping his run, he will throw TDs to a number of prime time receivers. We also have a four year starter at RB that has over 20 TDs this season and has past 1,000 yds rushing for the 3rd year. We have the most electrifying punt/kick return man in the state, he also has scored over 20 TDs this year. We have the state track champs as our defensive backfield. We have a LB with a state football championship ring, a state track championship ring, and a New Jersey state wrestling championship ring. Not bragging, we love Antonio, but FC football is a lot deeper then one player.
  3. I think 4A will be the best game, watch out for the Purple Flash!
  4. I would vote for Antonio if I had a vote, but the only thing that matters is winning the back-to-back-to-back on Friday!!
  5. I agree; the only team that can slow down FC is FC. Take care of the ball and the outcome is academic. Should we get sloppy like we did last year against NCC or this year against Murray, we could have a ball game. There would have to be some strange planetary alignment occuring Friday afternoon for Antonio to get sloppy and lose his first game in 29 starts, as a senior in the state championship. (It is probably hard for those outside of FC land to fully appreciate the accomplishments of this senior class) All I can say is, "please come and see for yourself".
  6. The mission and dedicated season to TW #73 are the intangibles that can't be measured!!
  7. I don't know if I would completely agree with that. Two very different games against very different styles. FC and Roe have some similarities and match-up pretty well. FC ran into a huge Murray team which completely altered their game plan for FC and just about caught the Falcons napping.
  8. Early morning math, guess I should do a better job counting my toes before typing the keyboard. :ylsuper:
  9. LO by 2 TDs Coming early Friday to watch the Purple Flash bring it home to Western Ky and then staying in my seat to watch FC bring home number 3 in a row.
  10. Congrats Purple Flash!! One more to go for perfection!
  11. PT has superior athletes and typical Tilghman speed. The question this season has been team chemistry, the coaching staff and assorted drama. It appears PT has found their MOJO and will win the 3A title. I can't believe I just typed that.
  12. Congratulations to Paducah Tilghman!! I am amazed at the turn around. This can't be the same team that Fort Campbell scored 21 points on in the first two minutes of the game. Either 3A is super weak or I need to find some crow to eat for the things I have said about the PT coaching staff this season. (maybe both are true)
  13. Let's bring home three titles next week; 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A!!!!!!
  14. CC had Mayfield on the ropes last week; I believe the Rockets could get it done.
  15. Very nice game by Monroe County and congratulations on a solid season. It was nice to meet and talk with tsyoung7 and Simperfifalcon - hope you all had a safe trip home. Great job by FC coaches to make adjustments and hold MC to 81 yards and zero points in the second half. One more game left to "Top the Hill"
  16. MC Falcons - wishing you safe travels here and back home Looks like nice weather throughout the game; 40, clear, slight breeze
  17. Not the most important catch of the season for Tre, but the most athletic. What a talent and super nice kid, very humble!
