I don't think Coach Berner is going to allow the players to even think about a title rematch with NCC at this point. He will see plenty to improve on as the staff reviews the Mayfield game film. The focus will be on Warren East period, which embarrassed the Falcons last year. One game at a time.

Big showing by the Falcons to start the season against a solid Mayfield team. I think I counted three Falcon touchdowns called back due to penalties. The Falcons will need to eliminate costly penalties as the season moves forward. The new QB, Andrews, has answered the key question of could he replace CJ Croft. Mayfield will go deep in the 1A playoffs and I will be cheering for them to represent the Western end of the state.
