Classy response .... Belfrfy is for real and way ahead of cross it looks like . Tough for 1A program to take on the big boys . Had to cancel my trip down at last minute but heard Belfry was a class act . Also heaqrd Cross didn't play too bad . I don't know if that is good or bad for Cross ....

Staying at the Hampton Inn , I believe , so probably be hanging at the pool all day and then heading over to tailgate that evening . HC will bring a lot of fans as always . Very fun trip for all of us last year . Very hospitable last year . Do us one favor though : Don't kill us with the referees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy Cross will have their hands full right out of the gate . We will be making the trip down Friday and look very forward to the Pikeville hospitality again . Holy Cross has a very young offensive line with 2 sophomores starting . They are taking the plunge and starting Devan Brown at QB and moving 2 year starter and Sr. Jimbo Nauert to RB . If their line holds up they can move the ball around very well . Their speed is a very big concern again this year as they still have no burners to run by someone . BUT , if they can get the ball in the hands of WR Hazlewood and spread things out , look out . Their defense is solid but still , speed is a factor . Very excited for the season to get underway .... Good luck to all .............

It 'ain't' lookin' good right now .......

From what I have been told , Desales held their own and then some against Central . One of the coaches was quoted as saying : " We may not be quite as good as Central but we played and pretty much beat them today . " Desales will be very strong this year . I think Desales came away very happy with the result Saturday morning . I think they may have edged them by a TD . Very clean game with Central and Scroggins showing big time class I was told .....

All I know is that Holy Cross will be there with a fairly large fan base . Looking forward to the trip down . Very good atmosphere . Not too confident on how we will fair with Belfry though ....

After attending the Holy Cross scrimmage last Friday I have come away with some serious questions about Cross . They were dominated by a lowly ranked Southern team . No speed by Holy Cross, no size and definitely no leadership ... Anyone else there to see the same thing ??????
