I think the KHSAA should consider a 35 or 40 second play clock in games that reached a "running clock" status. Less plays would have to be run decreasing chance of injury as the two teams would obviously be mismatched. Just a thought
Dunbar has 12 seniors, 6 of them start, 3 of them are impact players. Dunbar has 85 players, 60 of them are sophmores or freshmen. Dunbar starts 11 shophmores and 2 freshmen.
Congrats to the Eagles. Obviously a really good team. I had stated earlier that I thought BS could go undefeated in regular season but maybe it wil be JC. I do know that BS has a good team and results may be different come playoff time. Good luck to both teams. Sad Dunbar fan here......
Bryan Station by at least 3 touchdowns. These kids have everything you need to win a championship. IMO the only team that will be able to play with Station will be Scott County. If they stay healthy. I am not sure what they did to this team in the last year but they are nothing like the teams of the past.
Hensley was 10-3 his first year at Dunbar, 1-9 his second year and 4-8 his third year. So yes I guess he did turn them around in the wrong direction. But regardless of who is coaching them the outcome would be the same when you lose so many quality players. 75% of the starters on this team are sophmores and freshmen. :walk:
I think you will find that Bryan Station is the best team in Lexington this year. So Dunbar has nothing to hang their heads about. Dunbar will get better each week.. Dunbar has lost a lot of talent for various reasons. they are very young and inexperienced.
