Recpark: Don't get me wrong: Coach Copley is a good coach, with a very very strong work ethic. I'm not sure why he was let go, but do know first hand that these kids didn't have anything to do with his termination. I do know ..the talking to the kids.. that he has turned his back to them. Which is sad..because a lot of them did look up to him as a teacher and coach.

As long as he fulfilling his paid teaching contract, which includes at least one period of a body building class, YES, he should be on the school grounds. Or resign his postion as a "Teacher" and move on down 23.

The program: may have sent him packing, but the kids are the ones caught in the middle.

He was let go as coach, but is still employed as a teacher until the end of the school year.

Copley is still an employee of the Pikeville and as a paid employee just do his job.

A few of the boys are currently working out , but they need a head coach put into place so they can pull together as a team. Copley has turned his back on these boys, even though they had nothing to do with his dismissal. Copley has a lot of growing up to do. Good Luck Greenup County.

Hit the weight room and get more kids out to play football

Coach Copley is a good coach and hard worker who doesn't care to put the time into the program. He will need quality assistants on his staff

Make sure you hire a good Junior High Coach...The one hire last year for Pikeville..had never played or coached football

Catholic has a good team, but Pikeville is a better team than people think.

Pikeville has a good football team. First game = 4 fumbles, 1 interception Second game = Loss count at 6 fumbles If they figue out how to hold on to the football, they will win games

Pikeville 26 Ashland 14 Should be a good game, but I see Pikeville correcting the turnover problems they had against Corbin.

This was a good scrimmage for both teams. Neither team looked dominant IMO Both teams need to work on line play on both sides of the ball
