Can we close the book on Campbell County?
They can't decide on a QB. They are not sure who is going to run it. The Defense can't stop anyone.

I like coach Lickert. I think that the past school board dug a big hole him. I am not sure how he will fill it. I do not see any good players coming into their program. But it will not be from a lack of trying on his part.

People only want to see the negative aspect of things. Plus like I said to the same poster, aren't the Red Devils coached by dads as well? Yes, But my first 28 years i did not have a child playing. Coach Culp 32 years no kids. There are quit a few who are there with no kids. Yes we are competitve. Unlike Campbell County anymore.

This what Campbell County High school wanted. Their own players and their own coach's. Highlands and New Cath always wanted the Red Devil Players. Campbell County told those kids, if you don't play here you won't get to play. It is a shame, because they will struggle to win 2 games this year. If that.

Campbell county school board decided 5 years ago to separate themselves from the Red Devil program. They wanted to charge us $1500 a day for the field. Then decided that they still did not want us. Then decided they did not like coach Styer and Staff. Then hired a new stafff. Then most of the board and super are gone. Now current players and staff from Varsity down to 3 graders are left with a terrible system that will not work. They want a Ft Thomas youth feeder system that will not work because it is made up of parents parents that play favorites to their kids. I am sorry but this is the honest truth, Beechwood 6 and 7 grade players beat Campbell County 7 graders 35 -0. This is a 6a team getting beat by a 1a school. It will not get better.

Cooper Jaguars to start a youth football program.
They will be called the Union Jaguars and will be putting their feeder teams in the Northern Ky Youth Football League. They will have 2 teams in the Sr Division and 1 team in the Jr. Division.

Scott Eagles to start a youth football program.
Scott High School has not success with football. The main reason is that they have not had a true feeder program. Around NKY high schools have been going to a true feeder system for there high school. This is a great move for Scott. This Feeder team also picked up territory from South Kenton and Bengal Tigers. I see The Raiders and Scott Feeder picking up kids who have not played before. The Raiders have always been a strong team in the NKYFL. All teams except Srs were getting 40-50 players. This gives kids in both programs more playing time. I think every high in NKY will have this type of feeder system for their school before long.

Scott Eagles to start a youth football program.
They will be joining the Northern Ky Youth Football Program. The South Kenton Lions, Bengal Tigers, and Raiders all gave up some territory to help form this new program. The Raiders board made a very tough decision to make this happen, without their help this could not have happened. The New Program is working hard to finalize their name and Board Members. Their area will consist of Taylor Mill, Ryland, Ft. Wright, and some of Covington. This program is not run by the school but has the support of the high school coach. Volunteers and parents will be running the new organization. The NKYFL has been working on expaning the League. The expansion effort is based on finding programs that are feeding their High School teams.

Camels Coach Styer Stepping Down
If the administration would not support someone who played there. Coached there. Has taught there for 20 years. When no one wanted the job they ask Coach Styer not once but twice when people turned it down. There is no one that loves CCHS more then coach Styer. If they can not support him then they WILL NOT support anyone else. He was the perfect person and coach for them.

Camels Coach Styer Stepping Down
I'm sure very few people know this. But Siple quit the day of the playoff game. A few hours before game time. But as bad as the school board is in CC they would still hire him. I purposely left out the word coach when describing Siple. No true coach would quit game day.

KFCA district coaches, players of the year
6a/6 Michael Kremer passed for over 3000 yards this year. Lexington Hearld had Michael as one of the top 50 players in the state. He finished in the top 4 QB's all time in Northern Ky behind Jared Lorenzen and Gino Guidugli with playing 15 less games. . Chad is a great player but, Mike's are amazing.

Ryle's Conner Hempfel vs Campbell's Michael Kremer
I like Kremer and Company to still be standing in the 4th. If they get one Break, Kremer will use it to find one of the Four Camels. Cox, Geiman,Hodge or Smith. As the sun is setting against a purple and gold sky, the 4 Camels will catch fire and ride there to team to another round.
