  1. I am the Shipping Manager for the company I work for. I use FedEx everyday. I just hope my FedEx guy isn't an NCC fan. :thumb:
  2. That is exactly what I was thinking and from my understanding Joey Heeb was a total team player and embraced the move. Credit to him if true. I think this is more of a reason to make the move. The O-line should be good which should keep a new QB from getting destroyed and rattled. Perrin suits this running style offense better and IMO, is to dynamic of a player to keep the ball out of his hands. He won't be asked to throw much therefore I don't think the transition would be rough. My only concern is Perrin's size.
  3. At the beginning of the year they would have beaten NCC. At the end of the year, I'm not so sure. They would not have come close to beating Dixie.
  4. Do you think there is any chance Fitzgerald moves to a different position (WR?) and Perrin starts at QB? Just asking.
  5. You do realize they are probably the worst of the 3 teams in the Kenton County School District don't you? I don't see kids lining up to play at Scott which I have always thought was a credit to Carr. He plays with the kids he has. You don't often see stud transfers coming into Scott like you do some other basketball schools in NKY.
  6. Wrong! I do not know the guy. We have never spoken a word to each other. I'm sure he is a wonderful person. I am not a fan of his coaching style. I do think he is a pretty good coach, I just think his style keeps him from being an even better coach.
  7. Difference between berating one player and berating every player. When you do it every single time someone comes off the floor, kids stop listening.
  8. I'm with you. Carr doesn't let any of his players play through their mistakes either. You make one mistake, you come out of the game only to be screamed at and then stared down. When kids are constantly being screamed at, they begin to not listen to what the coach is actually saying/screaming.
  9. I realize that's a heck of a lot of points scored but I never once felt like it was a poorly defensive game. I often found myself in disbelief that these kids kept making big shot after big shot. I can tell you right now there was nothing easy about Bolden's 40pts. He worked and earned every single one of them. To think otherwise would discredit his effort. The kid was amazing that night as were other players on both teams.
  10. Were you at the game?
  11. I'd love to know how many second chance points Holmes had. They got a lot of stick backs. Bolden was great tonight. He had a little bump in the third quarter with turnovers but he was unreal the first half. Scott was hitting their shots tonight but rebounds killed them. Props to Coach Listerman taking time to hug each of the Scott players especially Witherspoon who missed the 3 that would have tied it with under 10 seconds in the game. Very classy coach. As entertaining of a game as you will see.
  12. I believe he had 21 or 23.
  13. Ohmer is much more versatile than Hatton was as a Soph and a lot better defender.
  14. Ohmer had more then 4 buckets.
  15. McClendon is a very good player. Is he just a Soph?
  16. Are you sure. Seemed like the kid had 160. Very good shooter. Dominated on the boards. Was just to strong for Scott. I was told before the game that Jake is still under the weather. I believe Scott only had 2 pts in the 1st Qtr.
  17. This explains it. Looked like he lost some of his quickness to me. Hopefully it will return when he is 100%. Blake is a fine player and really needs to stay healthy for Scott to have success. I know, I was there. Schneider missed a 3 at the buzzer that would have either tied or won it (can't remember). Scotts going to struggle some this year, their lack of size will be their achillies heel. They are really going to need to be strong from the perimeter to have a shot against these bigger teams.
  18. He just doesn't look the same to me this year.
  19. I'm curious too. They had 5-7 kids in street clothes (not sure they all played for the team) and I was wondering why.
  20. They also whipped Elder in The Pit.
  21. If there are 10 better players then NKY is loaded with basketball talent.
  22. Whoever has the schools all time scoring record can kiss it goodbye. Ohmer will crush that by the time he graduates. The kid is something special.
